Interesting...Looks very "Maserati-like". Since Ferrari is now at the reigns of Maserati (including body designs), you may be pleasantly surprised to hear back from them. Good luck. |

I was playing around with the new program I bought and it seems that I turned the headlights on and don't know how to shut them off. http://www.fototime.com/B2ACF1945CC0420/standard.jpg |

Thanks for the compliments guys. I so hope that either Ferrari or Pininfarina calls me on this design but I am not holding my breath. I really like this concept. I think the new special model Ferraris are just built to store away. I would like something like this to be built to run, either on a track or through a winding road. My other idea is to build exact replicas in the process, of the 250 GTO, to compete like the 360 Challenge cars. I like the Challenge cars, they are neat to read about and I am sure to watch, but it would be even better to see (new) 250 GTOs and maybe Testa Rossas competing against each other. Don't build them as a collectable piece because I wouldn't want to see them hurt the collectability of the originals and would want them built to compete, not to sit. I don't know, just a thought. |

Beautifully done. Clean lines with no useless ornamentation. I happen to love the tonneau cover; loved all the old classics where you buttoned up the passenger side but drove in the open air through the worst weather. No one does that any more. We have become pussies. |

Sweet Its about time someone considers a true sportscar concept instead of these stupid All-Purpose-Hyper-Hybrid-All-Sport-Utility-Cross-Hatch-Back-Wagon vehicles. I even remember when there were three types of cars on the road: You had the station wagon (family vehicle) You had the sedan (for going to work) And you finally had the sports car (for single people and for fun). Vans and trucks were for service/commercial work, not personal use. Today, you have sub-catagories within these fringe types. And this is the "in" thing? Not for me! |

Damn you're talented. Most concept cars suck (with the exclusion of most Ferraris, not all, but most and a couple other manufacturers), you actually have some good looking cars right off the bat. Pininfarina should employ you. |

YOu may wantto send this to Chrysler and Ford and other US manufacturers as a concept just to sho off your tallent! |

I just wanted to show you Ferrari owners what I have been working on. My favorite car, by far, is the Ferrari and though I like them all, I really like the GT style of the 550 Maranello. I drew this concept and I will tell you what my story is behind it. Last summer I was playing around and thought that I would design a retro styled Ferrari, since everyone else was doing it. I chose to draw it off of the 250 Testa Rossa. I drew it up and it didn't turn out too bad, but I was just doing it for fun because Ferrari never looks but just ahead, so I thought. About the time I was finishing it up I seen the Rossa Concept in Forza Magazine. What? Ferrari looked back and used the same car I was, weird. Well theres turned out better than mine to I created a new concept, something maybe Ferrari could do as a limited edition run of the last 100 cars, like the Fiorino 355. Just a thought. Well I love the 550 Maranello Barchetta so I used that as a base and added the Rossa concepts front end, changing it alittle so it looks right. Well I couldn't stop there because there wouldn't be anything of mine on there, so I added what would truely be a racing 550 worthy of the TR script. I added a hard tonneau cover for the passenger side and angled in the windshield to give the impression that there is two separate windshields. What do you guys think? I did send these designs off to all the magazines along with one to Ferrari and Pininfarina for there take on it. I doubt I will here back though. http://www.fototime.com/D640CE8484399D0/standard.jpg http://www.fototime.com/36588099C811F3F/standard.jpg Jason Godsil |
