I had not seen the pic before and was proud of myself for figuring out what it was from that little pic. Pretty cool, DrS. |

No, of course not! I thought everyone wore Stormtrooper helmets when driving their Ferraris. I won't leave home without mine ;-) |

Tom is my hero at Sport Auto. He constantly puts up with my stupid questions. And now they have tire mounting and balance equipment. They will be putting new tires on my 348 soon enough. |

Thanks for sharing that with us. I, too, have had excellent service at Ferrari of Atlanta over the years. |

As many here know, I received my 348 (1994) in May. In that same month it had gone through two alternators and I was needless to say, very upset. It seems the problems were all mechanical, and in the last case, just a dumb mistake. When the first alternator went, the battery was to blame and was, we found defective. As for the alternator itself, perhaps it was just its time to die. A new one was placed in the car and it lasted all of 50 miles driving distance. At this point I was furious and calling BS on everyone. To make a long story short the end all of the problem was that when the new one (a re-build) was being rebuilt, the teck must have dropped his cig on the line and forgot to put in an all important gasket that held the rotating armature in place. So, one power start at the stop light, and boom, the arm goes back and shorts out the system. In the end, all was fixed and now, 600 miles later, (Hey, its been raining a lot here!) the 348 is running like a champ!!!!! People to thank are Tom at Sport Auto and Chris at FoA!!!! These guys and their companies did a man's job by me and will be getting all my business in the feature!!! Thanks so much!!! (And thanks for putting up with all me!!) DrS
