A twin turbo vette motor in this thing would be sick. You'd be pulling McLaren F1 road cars in that thing.

I agree with Scott. just saw one yesterday at the Grand AM race here in Phoenix. they look very cool from a distance up close it is a HUGE car, very long, or at least it looks this way. i'm sure good dependability with vette motor, etc. but something does look out of wack with the car, it just doesnt look right. $160 ? buy a used F car. its a home built like the saleen but for a lot less dough so it has that going for it. saw it running with the saleen this weekend and I think it handles better, less bounce, etc than the saleen and for a lot less money. who knows if they will build many of them, same with saleen and if they dont what do you have? a dolorean? my 2 cents

They are built in riviera beach. I wsa there in februaryand drove by it but for some reason i didnt make the connection untill i saw a consulier body shell in the garage, but that was on sunday and i was leaving on monday morning, i was pissed. Martin, you should check them out. Mosler just builds cars as a hobby, in an article i read he loses money on his car co. but hes loaded and has alot of hobbies like that.

That's an awesome car. :-) More exotic than the ZO6 as well. :-)

I've seen them up close. They/he (mosler) always have a finished car and a rough body shell hanging around the pits at the 24 hours of Daytona. I believe they are built somewhere on the east coast of Fla (could be wrong). The finished car I've seen is either the one pictured or one of the same color combo. From what I remember fit and finish is pretty good, interior was actually pretty well finished, good leather work, good layout... over all pretty good. Up close though it felt like something was out of proportion. I can't really put my finger on it...but the lines of the car just gave me the feel of a kit car or something (don't know how else to put it, don't mean to offend anyone) The race cars do very well... the car seems well put together...but for me there just seem to be some sort of "home-built" flavor to it. It takes a hell of a man to go out and build his own brand of sports car (take Saleen for example) so I aplaud the men who take those chances but it just doesn't have the "presence" of a Ferrari or Lotus or other cars it could be compared to...just my opinion.

I see. Oh, I didn't mean to imply that the z06 chassis was used, just drivetrain.

They are used in racing alot now. They are constantly winning in grand am races, which is in the mosler tradition. In the past, mosler cars such as the raptor and consulier won everything but were ugly. They were eventually banned from racing because they won too much. It sounds hard to beleive but its true. Warren Mosler beleives weight is the enemy of performance, so all his cars are as light as can be, which is why they won so much in endurace races.

No i havent. It doesnt use a corvette frame. Its all carbon and kevlar, with titanium subframes. It just uses a vette engine and tranny, and a few suspension and interior peices.

Have you driven one? If so I'd be curious to know what you thought-performance, sound, fit and finish, etc.? From the looks of it, I would seem like a beautifully skinned z06, so reliability and servicing shouldn't be all that more? But, I have yet to hear of one being used/bought for street use, endurance racing, well yeah.

I know this should go under a different topic, but not as many people will see it. Anyway, who likes them? For about 160k they look like one hell of a car. I know some of you wont like the 425hp z06 engine, or some of the corvette parts used in it, but this car performs incredibly.
