Ive always used AUTOGLYM products. Very easy to apply and very easy to polish (takes almost no time). First use the red wax and then apply the gold wax. After that you can take part in any concours competition And the shine will last a long time. That would be my pick! BTW, nice TR Regards, LC Finland

First, I'd like to express my opinion on Zaino. Though it sounds like most users of the product are extremely happy with the result, the process sounds terribly lengthy and tedious if you follow all the directions for the desired result. The Zaino people also suggest a dishwashing liquid treatment, and though I'm not some expert, this doesn't sound too healthy for the paint IMO, but I'm sure it'll probably work. Though I have never prepped a car for a concours or special event, I have used mostly Meguiar's products on all my cars and I'm pleased. However, I am wondering and open to ideas on if there are other products which might give superior results, but so far this is all I've used. Finally, I would like to add that a short while ago there was a pretty good thread on exactly this subject which is now in the archives and I think you might find it helpful--> http://server.ferrarichat.com/~ferrari/ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/19946.html?1018979195 Hopefully this helps. |

Use Dawn dishwashing liquid. Works like a charm, and safe on the paint. After that, I prefer Zaino, but that is just my preference. Irregardless, Dawn is the ticket. Or come down to Dallas, and I'll detail the car for you! --> http://www.visiblecare.com Regards, Chris. |

OK,so my 91 TR looks good but for the new season I'd like to take off the old wax and start over again. What should I use to take off the old wax and prepare the surface for the new wax (Zymol)? Also, what sort of surface coat would F-Chat members advise after the polish? Thanks, Don. |
