Yes, 7/11 is the deadline for next issue. Ken, you will need to call Ted Alfano at Forza. I don't have their number handy although I just got off the phone with Ted. It's in one of these threads. I think Wayne provided it. | ||

Rob, please drop Ton an email! He is not online and right now not on the board. I totaly understand him for this. He might have some good pics from Amar & Jens. Please ask him. I have 2-3 pics from Jens on my computer but no one from Amar. But only in a group together with other drivers. Of course I can send you the pics. Maybe you can use them. Please let me know. Rob, I have sent pics, concept info, and the username list to Rich and he is working on the ad. But, the pics we have a jens and Amar are not good enough dpi quality to use, so we need to see if any other better quality images exist. That's why Rich and I posted this thread. If ewe can get good pics, we will have to do the ad without pics. Is the next week date the deadline to get it in the next issue? | ||

Thanks for posting that Ken. I'm never very good at explaining this but... basically our problem is that we only have photos that were posted on the web. This means they are 72dpi images. Their size is good on the web but to print in the magazine we'd have to change them to somewhere between 300dpi (best case) and 150dpi (I don't even know if I'd want to risk that) and that means they would shrink in size from somewhere between 1/4th or 1/2 the size they appear on your computer screen. In other words, we need to start with a much larger image. If someone has original unedited, big, high resolution digital photos that would be great. Or printed photos we could scan to the resolution we need would also be great. Thanks, Rich | ||

I just heard from the graphic designer (Rich Stephens - a board member) that the pics of Amar and Jens from their profiles on the site are not detailed enough to be used for the tribute ad. If anyone has good quality digital pics, please drop me a line. If we can't get better pics, we might have to do an ad without their pictures. Thanks. KT |
