Jeff,
you are wrong. I know a serious buyer looking for an Enzo and he would be happy to have me represent him if I wanted to. I am not interested in being a car salesperson--or in doing Kenneth any favours.

There are also several people who "lurk" here who could buy an Enzo in a heartbeat. Money considerations had very little, if anything, to do with people not liking Kenneth's approach.

Faisal.

I have an uncle who has an emerald mine
down in S. America. I am trying to see;
if I can borrow some money. I am having
difficulty in trying to contact him. His
bodyguards said he is skiing in the mountains
of Chile. It is difficult to reach his cell
in the mountains. If my wife finds out I
am in big trouble. Anybody have any extra
garage space I can borrow ?

You guys are like a lynch mob, one guy takes a swing and everyone else has to jump in. Get a life, the guy offered a car to a place he thought could have interest and since you guys aren't in this league you need to tear him apart. Some of you guys have to much free time.Do you think if you actually were looking for an Enzo you would have called him or would you attack him for posting here?

The car will be in our inventory hopefully next week, I have recieved copy of title and we are now arranging to fly out with a check to purchase the car, and have it shipped here to Team. I was just trying to give some heads up and get someone interested in it ahead of getting it here, becuse evryone here in the office is trying to sale the car to there own connections.

P.S We do take checks by the way.:-)

I'm curious - the price is borne of speculation and margins or an actual need to meet a certain number (ie purchase at 1.1, need to clear 1.25, etc.)?

Sorry if anyone got offended. This is another resource I have stumpled across, and was trying to utilize it. When I asked for the deposit, I was replying to a joke by Bruce. Trying add humor like the rest of you guys do, but Like Mark said I was trying to do you guys a favor for a Ferrari Buying oppurtinity. There are a couple of cars available, this is not the only one. The rest of them are priced for 1.5m, or 1.3. I don't belive I have done anything to ruin our companies reputation. It is not like I listed our full inventory of ferraris. I simply answered questions, and went along with the chat. I think maybe you guys should let Us prove ourselves before you run us down. We are one of the cheapest priced Enzo's available out there at this time. It seems like everyone else is trying to retire off of there price. Like I said, I was trying a new resource, and it is true that you guys have all been here as friends for awhile, and I guess maybe I should have introduced myself first. I do believe thought
" Enzo for sale" got some attention. If I get pictures of the car,, and a vin exchange of a deposit today, is there anyone in here that would like a chance to buy the car? If not, then I can continue just to chat, and not advertise any good deals or cars period. If you guys would like something, you can call me, and I can try to prove myself to you at that point.

No offense, but I thought when it comes to solicitation on FerrariChat, it is reserved for official sponsors of ths site! If that's the case, maybe Ken needs to consider becoming a sponsor of our site if this dialogue is continue any further, and Ken is able to utilize our bandwith to spread the word about his car(s).... just my $0.02.

You just buried your company's reputation on this chatroom, where a lot of people have purchased Ferraris and will continue to do so.

Good going buddy.

Kenneth,
word of advise here from someone that owns a business for years and has done ups and downs.

If you want to buy this Enzo and NEED $1,250K for this car that means either you NEED a HUGE profit or you are totally overpaying for this car!

On the other hand I can totally understand that you do not want to buy this car and put it on the showroom floor since you will get creamed on it and you already know it.

So now you are holding off the seller of this car probably with the excuse the check is in the mail. Just what these "brokers" do to you.

Besides:
Do you own the company? Did you make any financial contribution to the building of the showroom, do you have a financial stake in this company other than a sales commission?

I don't think so (yet I do not know). If you don't that makes you only a used car salesman my friend! Which makes it realy funny to those slimey brokers, that actually OWN their business and are entrepreneurs paying for their own ads, calls, websites etc.

"P.S. I will take the deposit of 100,000 Please send to address on website".

Kenneth, you said: "So we are trying to not get the guy in trouble with anyone. He is talking to us only, and no one else."

Then you said: "I am just trying to get it advertised to ferrari lovers."

Aren't some of those same Ferrari lovers the exact people who don't want to find out about this...? You're new here and that's okay, but the worst possible thing you could do if you want to keep something secret is post it on FerrariChat.com - this place is international.

That's not my take, Steve. (Whether i would want that car is an altogether different but irrelevant question). First post, hi, let me sell you something. And, its not like these are unavailable or rare or can't be found at this price. And, he is a broker, notwithstanding his protestations to the contrary. So, does this post even belong here? Or, as someone else said, is it advertising by a nonparticipant? And, in this context, when did the merit of a response get judged by somebody's pocketbook?

Well It is a dealer friend of ours, that is trying to get it to his customer for 1.3m and we are not trying to make that much, we just would like to turn it quick, and just finish the deal. Is not something to put on ebay, because of Ferrari dealers will get upset, and then track the vin, and try to get the individual in trouble for selling it so soon. So we are trying to not get the guy in trouble with anyone. He is talking to us only, and no one else.

If you're only $10k apart on 'what you need' ($1.250M) vs. 'dealer bid' ($1.240M), then i'd suggest that you're not running your biz very well, money-wize-less, as that $10, represents less than 1% of the deal...pretty thin, i'd say.

You haven't mentioned anything about sales tax, or whether you'll have the car on MSO or not...both of these are potentially more of a deal breaker than the $10k diff staring you in the face.

Why not float it out on ebay and let some bozos fight it out & bid it up to $1.5M ??

OTOH, we *could* just wait 24 hours and see if you *really* do 'take possession' of the car(at gunpoint?)

Oh by the way the list on the 360 Coupe F-1 is 171,864. a dealer has bid the car 184, but if I sell it for 185 I can get the commission, and It is the wholesale on them right now. We are in the process of updating our website with an easier way to get pictures of all the cars. We have a good reputaion, and I would like to try to keep it that way, so please don't hesitate to run me down with insults, because I can take it, and I will try to make it up to you guys and prove my self. We have agood team of sale right now, and we always try to keep only nice low mileage cars with no paint work, and all service history records,we do not deal in euro cars, but can get them, but don't like to.

You are all correct!! April miller married the owner of Team Motorsports, and now she is in our office with her name so we chare the same inventory. I do not own the car yet, but i am trying to. Itr is only neccessary to buy this particular car. As of the 360 Coupe F-1 We need 185 for that car. It has delivery miles. Yes I do not want to own the car, and take a bath on it, if I don't have anywhwere to go with it. hat is why i am here in the chat room with the guys who should most appreciate the car. Every one else says they have a buyer, but no one has got the deal together. I am new, and yes I would like this sale. Please understand the situation with this particular car.
And as far as the 355 sales call. If you need a car, I will love to make it up to you to stay on top of it until you get the car you need. Therre are alot of shoppers out there, but lately all they are flakes who waste your time lately. Our prices arew usually very competitive, and we don't try to rip people off on cars, we like to get there business, and try to get them out of the one we sold them, and get them anothercar.

Man you guys are harsh. I got the impression that Kenneth has the opportunity to buy an enzo which will be a very large outlay of cash for him compared to normal. So in order to hedge his bet he is seeking out a buyer asap so the thing doesn't sit on his floor for 2 months. That is a very expensive paper weight.

What i like best is that Kenneth doesn't waste any time becoming part of the community. So, Ken, when you meet somebody nice, instead of saying "How do you do," is it "Hey, wanna ?" And, i guess after one of us buys the car (we usually fight over these things, which usually increases the price, until Rob says "stop"), you won't hang around and chat with us anymore? BTW, do you take Diner's Club?

i've perused TEAM's site in the past. they seem to run a few dealerships with different names out of the same address (cf. http://www.aprilmiller.com/). i've contacted them in the past on 355s and got extremely slow responses, so stopped trying to work with them during that search. they did/do seem to be for real and i've seen them around for quite a while.

kenneth, you are clearly brokering this enzo deal. there's nothing wrong with that. but you'll do much better here just being up-front with people.

You do manage to cut through the bullsh it. Either you own something or your're acting as a broker.
"I am taking possession of the title today or tomorrow." Implies iminent ownership.
"my deal of finalizing the purchase" Speaks for itself.
"I just need a real buyer for this enzo before I try to stock a million dollar car. It has to be handled with an attorney on boyh ends. If you are serioud!!"
"I am not just trying to be a slimey broker. I just really need a buyer."
"I guess you can sya I am trying to broker the million dollar car,"
"we just don't want to be considered brokers."

Makes perfect sense to me. (not)

So you're basically trying to sell a car that you do not currently own or hold title to? Is that correct?

So your original post is not true? or maybe you are only taking possesion of the title if you broker the deal and have it presold. You posted 3 hours ago so did you get the title today? Its fine to be a broker but why lie about it?

Well We are all the time trying to move ourcars to all these cheap brokers ou there who do not have the money to purchase evan a $30k car from us, so they are trying to recieve the money from the other people first, and then sending us a check, and holdin us up for a week saying they are sending the money. I guess you can sya I am trying to broker the million dollar car, but most of the time we have our own money to stock inventory, when all these brokers just have a name and a phone number and our own pictures we spend time on and paste them to there website to sale our cars. we just don't want to be considered brokers. The owner has worked hard to build a nice dealership, and is proud his accomplishments, before computers even came out.

we are no where nearbeing Brokers. We own most all of our cars. We may have a few on consignment, but we have about 40 cars in Stock. I just need a real buyer for this enzo before I try to stock a million dollar car. It has to be handled with an attorney on boyh ends. If you are serioud!! I am too. My attorney can contact your attorney direct. Just to let you know I am not just trying to be a slimey broker. I just really need a buyer.I have plenty other cars available that I can procuce a vin( all us):-)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with posting the serial #; i concur, wait until the car is in your dealership's possession before posting the VIN. Once you get it, though, there should be no problem posting the VIN.

Also, somewhat unrelated, it is superfluous to say "vin #"... Just my two cents.

Kenneth,
do your deal first. Once you own the car you can surely post the VIN.
No need to screw up your deal before. I agree!

I have a real U.S Car, and I Have the Vin# the Car.Now as you all should know I can't just post the vin# on here until I have a serious buyer who really wants the car. It is real, but not to where I can post all the details of it yet. Most people could locate the car and screw up my deal of finalizing the purchase, and yes the cars were all spoken for, but they do not have to keep them a year as of what the rules had stated when ordering. Most guys who recieved the cars will keep them to add to there collection, but some will try to turn and make there money and go on till the next big thing. And you better look again at the piccture we will not own any euro Ferraris.

P.S. I will take the deposit of 100,000 Please send to address on website

Jonas, none of those cars look even remotely photoshopped.

We are in America are we not? Can't we at least give this guy the benefit of the doubt?

Kenneth, I noticed something in the picture on your website at the frontpage. It looks like the cars are photoshopped into the picture. Espacially when there's a European 355 Spider between all the other American cars.

Are you sure this isn't a hoax? - I strongly encourage you to admit it, I have felt the rage of Ferrarichat once myself, and believe me, that is not something you would wish upon yourself.

(417) 886-3200 <- Here's the number if anyone here wish to call them, I cannot (Live in Denmark) :-)

If not, then Welcome to the board mate :-)

Kenneth, i think you'll find a very high level of skepticism in the replies you'll get to a post like that. This is a very serious community and when a new member comes along and her/his first post declares that one of the rarest new cars on today's market is available, people get very defensive. As you can imagine, there have been others who have come here, fully intent on scamming chatters, ergo the hesitation. If you really do have an Enzo or expect it any day now, then we're all sure you'll have no problem posting the serial number and the experiences that came along with your purchase.

Your profile says you're in exotic sales; if the Enzo is not for you, personally, then i'm sure you'd be more than happy to post the VIN for us as i'm sure if this is a legit offer, you'll find an appreciatable level of interest here.

If you're not serious, though, and you're looking to scam someone, i can asure you that this is definitely not the place to do it; however, if you're in the market for a new ass hole, by all means go ahead, some people here will certainly tailor-fit that for you. :-)
