Funny, I came home after the Rally and thought, man these Mondials are nice looking cars. Never cared too much for them but they are growing on me a lot.

trust me the cat would have eaten "Champ". Champ looks like a little rat with long ears. LOL :-)
The cat would have had a field trip with him!

Oh no Martin, Champ is going to get you now:-) The entire interior was re-upholstered, i have some photos around here somewhere. The top was also replaced and its still very stiff so it doesn't move.

This is part of the Bobe family:
the Mondial, Maggie, Tania and David Sen. and "Gizzmo", the dog. (boy I am going to hear about that!)

I think what you see is the carpet that is a lighter color. The color of the camera could have made that difference as well.

You can match your seats with Leatherique dye.

surprised the top does not bounce around, but then again he does not have to worry about a tenex fastner coming loose and hitting the paint. what year 3.2?

Yes, the 3.2 Cab is driving w/o the boot cover. The back seats look darker because the front seats have seat covers. The interior of the car was completely re-done last year.

Nunja, the dealerships are the only authorized sellers of the 360 BBS Challenge wheel, but you can get them elsewhere. I know tire rack won't sell them.

that is Lou B (toby 91)with the silver 360 spyder and a Red TR that he does track.....same guy.

I really don't know what a 308 engine weighs, but will let you know when I pull mine out after Sebring, time for 11:1 pistons and top end performance work......people are beginning to think i work for mosquito control.

I know the silver one is his. He still has his TR for track days right?
Did you get my question for the weight on the 308 engine and tranny?

The 360 spyder is Silver with a blue interior, looks white in the photo due to resolution.

It was blazing hot!
I got a sunburn from sitting down to eat and standing at my stop for 45minutes directing cars.
My top was also on the car because I can not drive with the top behind the seats. I know, big draw back!

A lot of us brought their wifes and they tend to have a lesser tendancy to endure pain (eg. sun throughout the day).

:-O

JAck,
one of my favorite stops in the Keys as well. I actually had to go to Duck Key on business one day and on the way back 10:30am made a lunch stop on Holiday Isles. Called my secretary and told her I will be back in the office by 12:00, one hour later called and said it would be 1:00. I came home that night with 2 pitchers of Fosters in me and a BIG smile!

On this trip it was planned to have every driver temp-tattooed. Unfortunately the tzattoo-lady was not there.

Love all these photos, guys! By the way, Martin, I noticed that the entourage made a stop at one of my all time favorite places--the Tiki Bar. Even us Chicagoans know about that place. Next time you're there, look and see if my Cubs tickets are still stapled above the register. They were still there last year, after about 6 years!

Tom. LOL, you are looking into every detail!
BUT technically the cat is still within its rights. The tape spans across the hood of the car and the cat is under the front part of the hood so technically still before the tape!

Jim,
the Lexus in there was one owner that did not have his Ferrari ready for the rally. At the FOC-FL we do not discriminate against non-Ferrari owners or drivers for this matter. My friend Stephan, who did the first pit-stop came in his Porsche 996 to help out! On track events we usually have other cars on the track as well. Some bring their NASCARS with their Ferraris, Craig Zinn usually brings his Race-Toyota 2000GT to get some laps. The Moretti that was there is in theory a non-Ferrari.

We are just happy to see everybody and have a great time.

We also had a special guest: Mr and Mrs Quadt, from the National Board of the FOC. Nice people.

NICE PICS!

ok, my q: What color is on that TR, looks like burgundy? What is it called? any better pics of it?

also...I think somewhere I have a pic of a 360spyder in white over blue (blue top too) taken at CI'01 - everyone there saw it and it was either a love or hate thing (but that wasnt in FL!).

Glad you had a fun day.

That is intriguing indeed. My pictures were taken a little later, when everybody was already at the tent.
Mitch took his pictrues earlier.

The TR white is most definetely in that spot where the 360 Spider was. All I can think off is that they must have traded spaces.

The 360 Spider I believe is Lou's Spider. Lou, are you back yet? Can you please shed some light into this mystery?

Driving back with David Jn. in the yellow TR, Charlie in the red TR and the white TR leading the pack, was a phenomenal thing. The heads were turning left and right and ahhhhss and ohhhhssss flying.

Wow...thanks for posting the pics, Martin! Looks like all of you had a blast -- will certainly have to attend the next one!

Noticed that my friend "Max" made it down there with his yellow 360 (the one with BBS Challenge wheels, fender shields, and Challenge grill).

I especially enjoyed the pic of the 3 TR's in a row. Can't wait to purchase one someday soon!

I am intrigued by this white 360 question. In the one photo (actually the third, 5th and 6th photos posted) it is certainly a white tr between the yellow 360 and the red mondial cab but from the other side (the 15th pic posted it looks like the same setup) the white TR looks like a 360 spider or some type of convertible between the red mondial and yellow 360. What is going on? is it the silver 360 spider in the TRs place?

we had a white TR and a white Mondial Conv. I do not remember a white 360. I have seen one though and that color does not do justice to the 360 lines!

On the yellow TR I agree that is my color choice #1 as well.

We had at least 3 Mondials, some 3 550s, several 360s and 3 348s. Of course Mitche's 400i, what a classic car. It looks like a cross breed between the Boxer and the 365. Just a great car.

The little old car is a Moretti. One of few built. Unfortunately the only car that did not make it all the way back home.

That looks like a great showing. Do all Ferrari dealers sell those challenge wheels for the 360? If not, where could a person find them? Are they lighter?

Saturday was the completion of the Ralley in the Florida Keys. We had the greatest weather and the greatest crowd since St. Armands Circle. Old Friends, new Friends and a total blast!

Here are some of the photos I have taken during the run. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures at the drivers meeting and in the afternoon at Craig's wonderful boat: AMAZINN.

Marion and I had a blast this weekend and I hope others that have been there will share their time as well. Mitch, I saw you on the way back on US1, when I passed you. Sorry we did not get the time to talk. Make sure to stay in touch. Your 400i looks great!
