I don't think the 420 performance will be that much of an increase from the current 360. So in response to the competition to the 420 it does seem like it will still be underpowered. Like Lou said the E55 AMG is on par, acceleration wise, with the 360. By 2004-2005 the new BMW M5 will be out and they claim it will beat the current E55 AMG not just in acceleration but handling too. |

If you click to get the larger picture, it becomes obvious Ferrari hasn't improved paint resistance to road rash (: ACW

The 400 Modena could be a "bridge model" until the next total re-do comes out... sort of like the 575M is the "bridge model" to make do until it is totally redone.... (Maybe??) |

Shouldn't the next "360" have about 500 shp? Thats the range of its main competition the Gallardo. Even the SL55 is there and the E55 AMG, a 4 door sedan is faster than my humble 400 shp 360 and as fast as the 575. I know, I know there is a lot more to Fcars than raw SHP but..... |

I have seen several way off-base articles on future models at this site. I would take this info with a grain of salt until we get more solid info. The light carriers are probably painted black for camouflage, they will be body color on future models if they are introduced. As for the car having Challenge Stradale wheels, they may make it an extra-cost option, but they will not be standard, as they are heavier than the base wheels. I agree with Jason, it looks like a test mule. |

The car looks like a mule....I would think that the altered headlights would be part of the replacement vehicle for the 360, not a tweaked model. Given that they have introduced a 360 CS, I just can't see them adding another version before a full replacement. |

It is quite unlike Ferrari to introduce a tweeked model (400) for the 2004 model year and then replace it with the next model (420) in 2005 or 2006. |

Black light carrier's ok if you like black Ferraris like I do. Now if Ferrari could make them completely sealed units so they won't siphon dirt particles under the lense... Going by current 360 power ratio of 110HP/liter, a 4 liter motor should get 440HP. |
