I find this rather unique also. According to Ferrari MB is "too soft".

The questions to soft for what & why haven't been answered satifactorily yet.

The factory also had valve/guide issues with the first 333SP's also, which led to immediate changes after several blown engines during races

All the "real answers" will take time to sift out it appears.

Why is the factory using sintered steel when replacing guides instead of manganese bronze ? Would seem like MB is the much better choice
