Jim - very cool, thanks for the invitation. As plans currently stand, though, I'll be coming in on Saturday and will be enjoying the glorious New Jersey Turnpike on Friday night (ugh). (I'm working on a big case right now and there is no way I'll get out of work earlier.) I'll definitely look for the trailer during the course of the weekend, however. I'd love to get a close look at your tr, it looks great in your profile pic. |

Thanks for the travel tips Dennis. I guess I will stay on the exciting Mass Pike for a little longer than planned. So- I've never been to LRP. I looks from the website that the parking should be simple. Is there any area of the lots that would be conveinient for us to park our cars close together, or is that a big hassle? The infield is off-limits to spectator cars, correct? I think that was posted earlier. The plan is to try and meet at 11:00a.m. Saturday at the foor court. Is there only one food court? I sounds like it will be a fun day. http://www.limerock.com/ |

Jim - I think we are meeting Saturday at 11:00 so no worry there (if you are arriving Friday). I would also be interested in knowing if there are any activities happening in the evening, although I'm more interested in Saturday night. Also, anyone else staying at the Interlachen (spelling may be wrong)? I think it has an attached restaurant and, more importantly, Tavern. Can't wait to get there! |

Hey guys, I am coming from Indiana and might not make it by 11 am. Any chance of a meeting at the close of activities on Friday? Are there any FCA activities or anything? (I can't find anything on the FCA site other than racing schedule). I am thinking of touring New England a bit. Any suggestions using LRP as a launch point? |

I can't make it on Saturday , on my way to Semicon West in SF. I'll take in the early show on Friday. I'm only 25min from LRP so it's an easy ride for me.How many are going up on Friday? I'll be taking the 308 and wearing my F shirt. See ya |

John, it's a bit faster to avoid taking I-84 to Lime Rock. When heading out from Boston, we take I-90 (the Pike) all the way west to Exit 2, then head south on Route 7 after passing through Stockbridge then Great Barrington. Hint - avoid the spectator traffic near the track trying to get to the Outfield entrance by taking Routes 44 and 41 to get to the Lime Rock infield entrance from the WEST (assuming you're headed for the infield, that is). Oh, and if anyone has a spare seat for a passenger on Saturday morning, leaving from the Boston area.... http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/280937.html?1057708260 vty, --Dennis |

John, Well lets see......if you hooked up a radar detector and drove 120 mph it will only be 2 hours each way. Have I done enough to convince you to bring the 308? Regards, Jon

I'll be coming also- about 10:30 on Saturday. I'm hoping to bring the 308- but 4 hours each way is a poke. I'll be coming from Maine. I would love to join anyone going the Mass Pike to I-84 route through Hartford and then up to Limerock. Is this the quickest way? Now that I think about it- I should bring the 308. Why should I own the car if I can't drive it to a Ferrari event? |

Jim - I think I might be getting up there a little later than 10:00. My father and I are going to leave DC on Friday night, travel halfway, and then complete the journey in the morning. Still trying to decide where to bed down on the way up (other than NYC, there are not many interesting locations on the route). Consequently, sometime more like 11:00 would be better. Feel free to e-mail me privately at work. Jon |

Greg, I will call FOW on Monday morning and see if Glen Marquis can get me an extra pass. If he can I will just FedEx it to you. I won't be arriving until late Friday. The three sponsoring dealers (Miller, Wide World, Ferraro of LI) refused to pro-rate the three day track event. No way I was going to pay $600 for a 20 minute track session on Saturday and a lousy lunch of finger sandwiches. I will only be running the Challenge car in the end of day 1 hour Challenge Reunion session. I will email you on Monday about the pass. Regards, Jon |

Jon, good to hear from you. I am attending and will be arriving Thursday afternoon ~ 1:00PM. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to get in on Thursday...I only have the tickets for Friday / Saturday. Anyone have a way to get me in on Thursday? Paul Prideaux is driving up Thursday night and will be there Friday / Saturday as well. I would love to have a FC gathering and picture...Jon, I'll find your car. Thanks for posting the schedule. I called Lime Rock last week and the lady didn't have one to give me. I would love to bring my Ferrari, but that's a damn long drive from Florida! P.S. I can't wait to see James' GT40...if you bring it. See everyone there...I'm packing already! |

Look forward to seeing everyone at the track. Maybe we can get a list together of attendees and then coordinate for an F-Chat group shot after lunch with our cars. Dave, I would love to attend the Texas event but with a one-month-old boy it's too far a trip this year. Maybe next year. I had a heck of a time schmoozing the wife to allow me to go to Lime Rock next week and the Glen in August. I am going to be paying up for these two events for a long time. God forbid she takes away my F Chat posting privileges. James, screw em' bring it anyway. They will get over it...in about another 100 years or so. I think the true race fanatics like us respect and admire all great racecars. Along with the 917's, 962/956's, the GT40's are my favorite Lemans cars. I would love to get my picture taken along side your car for my website. I can't understand why some folks can't admire another marque just because their beloved marque got trounced by them. I literally was thrown out of Ferrari of Washington for wearing a BMW Williams F1 hat one day at a party there. It was all in good fun with some of the staff but some didnt look pleased at all. They took my hat away and gave me a prancing horse one. I was told not to come back with a BMW hat ever again. I do find it funny they still get steamed about it. I think as long as you don't take it out on the track during the Historics and beat up on those 330 P4s again you will be ok. Regards, Jon
