i am nearly booked on a dark blue w/ dark tan interior (montezemolo's color combo on his 355 spider) 456 gta. think it looks subtle and and elegant, and hopefully won't attract too much attention from people with radar guns. |

exactly! only slim girls should wear light colors. nothing is wrong with a woman with a full frame though. Good personality is everyhing though. |

Tim states "I guess the dark ones hide the size." Are you referring to black cars or womens black dresses/slacks/bathing suits? |

The size thing could be it. I'm not sure "docile-looking" is a good description of the car in any color. Maybe "sophisticated" or "understated". I like to think it's elegant, and yet it exudes a subtle sense of power. I just traded in a Verde Silverstone 95 that looked awesome for a black 2001 model that also looks pretty mean (when it's clean).

IMO they look alot better in darker colors. I guess the dark ones hide the size. |

the 456 is probably the only Ferrari that does not look good in Rosso Corsa! |

I don't think the car looks anywhere near as nice in red as it does in more subtle colors. There was a red 456 as Concorso Italiano a couple years back, and I took its pic because I hadn't seen one before. I had walked by it several times before I realized it was a 456, it looked so odd. Here's a pretty crummy photo of the car.

I feel the 456 GT appeals to an older/mature individual with a family who can benefit from the 2+2 seating arrangement; kids in the back kind of thing. Maybe that individual would prefer a more docile-looking car. I've seen a few in silver and I must say that its lines were accentuated and gorgeous. |

Seen countless 456's everywhere... But none red. What's with this? |
