The show had some really nice stuff there, but from where we were sitting, the 355 looked like it easily drew the most people. The best part was when Rob cranked it up. What a great sound!

I bet if Rob had some cool Ferrari / F-Chat t-shirts they'd sell like HOTCAKES!

Greg Scott talked me into it. It was a MOPAR show and he had won with his Charger the past 3 years. It was having fuel problems driving there, so he went back home and brought the Mustang. Greg showed up about 2 hours late. Ron and Stephanie were there to keep me company though. Very fun people watching.

I had to be in Dallas that evening anyway.

Rob, I can't believe you towed that car to Garland. Next time tow it to my house, we'll park it in the driveway. I'll supply the beer.

This may sound elitist...but it is not meant to be...I used to own a rental house in Garland. People were really nice in Garland, I always founf GREAT renters who really trook care of that house, but damn if the city wasn't about the shabbiest! And the fact that this year's event was associated with the city government, and was in such a dump, validates my point.

There were a few nice parks, but by and large, it was just depressing. Seemed like Garland just gave up on itself, and decided to become a self-fulfilling prophesy of low-rent (no pun intended) neighborhoods, low-rent people, trash, and brown weeds. Oh, and the city is electric-only (no natural gas available) AND the electric utility is city-owned AND it is among the most expensive electric utilities in the nation.

No insult intended to those from Garland...but I am also not lying here at all...

Well, we didn't stick around long enough to see if I won or not. Fun driving it by all the cops and people on the street the 3 blocks back to my trailer.

Tyler, I don't remember if any of the Cuda's were for sale. My Ferrari friend Greg Scott knows all of the Dallas Cuda gang and actually just bought one himself. If you're looking for one, I might be able to find out.

Robin, they had the car show, but I didn't participate. I think it was a good decision. There were a few muscle cars, a few hot rods, and a few street cars. I got good attention from all those that knew I had the Ferrari, but didn't partcipate.

Dave, this place was a real dump. Last year they had this show at a park, but this year it was associated with the Garland Star Spangled 4th.

Geez, you'd think they'd pick a nicer-looking location for that car show! This picture shows Garland in a very cheesy, dirty, seedy light.

Not that that's inaccurate...

Rob, good looking car. Looks a little out of place there. :-)

Any nice Cuda's for sale?

Been at the Garland, TX Star Spangled Car Show since about 11am. MOPAR club is sponsoring the show. Pretty funny all the attention the car is getting. Trust me that this crowd won't vote for it though. Still a good time answering questions and letting the little kids sit in it.
