My dealer told me about this a week or 2 ago, and I forgot to post it. Bart, not sure what is different between my '00 & the affected '01s. Obciously, they changed tranny cooler lines for '01, though!!! |

i hope that owners affected will be contacted but im posting this just in case. sorry if this has been posted before. Ferrari recalls '01, '02 models Ferrari, one of the world's most expensive automobile brands, is recalling 232 U.S.-sold cars from the 2001 and 2002 model years because they have leaky transmission lines that can cause crashes. The cars being recalled include the 550 Maranello and 550 Barchetta cars from the 2001 model year, and 456M, GT and GTA cars from 2001 and 2002, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. Transmission oil lines may disconnect from the oil cooler and leak fluid, which can cause the transmissions to fail, NHTSA said.
