I think real ones go for like $300K. A rebody though could be made faster I guess and you could really drive it. Who wants to drive a 1 out of 272 car into the ground.

That Black "All Carbon" 288 GTO fakie do, ala 308 frame, has a billet aluminum V12 block, Ferrari V12 heads, and 24 ( yes,,,,,, I counted them) 24 fuel injectors.

The entire area under the rear deck will be filled with an intercooler,(James motioned with his hands), approximately 24" X 36" ,, !
"Beast" hardly begins to discribe this creation.

I want one.

Jim,
I was over at Norwoods talking to James a few weeks ago and they told me that the Black GTO is being built for John Carmack.

FYI, there is a red Norwood GTO for sale on eBay for around $80k.

I wonder if you get that yellow P4 and the black GTO that are in progress too? That GTO is going to be very very fast and I want it.

As posted earlier, the following ad has been seen in various rags:

"P4'S, 288/GTO'S & THE NORWOOD A12. 20 year old Business. We'll sell work in progress. May trade for exotic cars. We'll finance a Percentage. Parts, Tooling, Castings, Jigs, Prints and contracts. Opportunity for super car fabrication business. We'll stay on for consultant for the interim. $375K. Call Bob (972)831-8111. TX"

Bob used to build replicas of Ferrari 330P4's and 288 GTO's. He has de-focused from that, but has a stash of the parts and tools needed to do this. So, he is trying to sell that stuff off... and is positioning it as an opportunity for someone to start a new business building such.

New career and one fabulous looking car to drive around in (voted best looking Ferrari by FerrariChat!! ;^). Just $375K... what a deal!

(Bob is not selling Norwood Performance; and this has nothing to do with the Ferrari repair business that Bob sold to James Patterson several years ago. Both of those are going strong.)

Just FYI,

Brian
