I have it on my 360 Spider and love it. It looks good and certainly displaces a lot of hot/heated air. The only down side is the bumper and engine lid do get more road dust. However it is easily wiped off with either a wet towel or products that are called instant detailers. I would recommend it. |

Do it Norm! Mid-engine cars need all the helo removing that heat they can get. If nothing else, your parts (especially coils, etc) will all last longer. Challenge grille not only increases surface area, but allows much more airflow *across* the motor to keep temps more even and cooler overall. Plus it looks cool, and certinly cannot hurt, at any speed. So functional and asthetic reasons for it, what are you waiting for? :D) Best! Ben. |

I've heard conflicting opinions regarding this. Some say the grill is cosmetic and makes no difference in normal daily driving. Others say the less heat the better. I tend to agree with the latter. It stands to reason that the challenge grill would probably increase the surface area available for cooling by at least double, and with less heat in the engine bay, the engine would probably run better and more reliably for a longer period of time. Or is this irrelevant? Please keep in mind this is for normal road driving, not track racing. I'd appreciate everybody's thoughts. |
