Ben, check your comp, i sent u some things but unfortunately the top gear piece featuring the F1 car and the F50 (and them racing, u would be supprised too how close the F50 comes)is pretty far down on the queue, but theres a whole lot of good crap to keep you busy for a while. We really need a show like top gear in the US, i guess car and driver TV will have to do for now though.

I also found it on a Google search for Ferrari related material.

The person who I bought my car from had advertised it on FC prior to the FerrariAds.com site. What a great place!

Two ways I found this great site. I saw Rob Lay's 328GTS @ the FCA 2001 Dallas meet. He had a sign on his door for Ferrarichat.com. Also, Randy has a site for www.buymeaferrari.com , I found it through his links section.

It's only been about 6 weeks, but I've already forgotten how I got here! I think it was just one of my many Ferrari searches that brought me here. I absolutely hate chat rooms, but this one is definitely different. Probably a good thing that it doesn't pop up on every search engine.

I have never spamed another site with FerrariChat.com, except the very first month back 18 months ago when it all started.

A year or so ago a mechanic (forgot name) in the SF area got me in contact with Ben Lobenstein and he turned me on to FC.

Thanks Ben, Joe

Lurked around the Ferrari internet newsgroup for the longest time. Then someone was promoting FerrariChat last year there (was that you, Rob?). It's nice to see this place grow. Many useful tips and Ferrari knowledge exchanged.

I like Bret, Randy, PeterGT4, CraigD, GregR, and others, came over from the now defunct expensivecar.com board. Since then it's been a sordid tale of explicit posts and addiction to F information, I do tell alot of people about the site and I'd gather that most have checked it out, but aren't as routine a poster/lurker. In fact I'd still venture to say that FC has 1,200? reg'd users and at LEAST 5x that in unregistered lurkers. Have to do something to get more people to provide input! The info they get from here is invaluable.

Asked a question on another Ferrari site and one of the responders referred me to a thread on FerrariChat.com. Been here every since. Don't remember the other site or the person.

It's funny how it pops up on some search engines, because I have never submitted it to any of them. I'm glad we've received some great users from the search engines, but in general the real enthusiasts will come from word of mouth, another Ferrari website link, or ads in the Ferrari mags.

One of my fellow adicts at "FAA - Ferrari Adicts Anonymous" had mentioned that he had spend hours on the Chat. One night I came home and checked it out.

...since then I no longer participate in the Group Sessions. "Hi I am Martin, I have a Ferrari Problem"..and the group answers: "brouummmm brouuuumm"

smoke filled bar......Tom Jones on the jukebox......he walks up to me and asks "What time did your spaceship land from the planet Lovelytron"? I noticed that Ferrarichat logo tattoo and checked it out later.

okay okay.......a friend of mine told me about it. Apart from my own website - it's the only forum I participate in.

Looks like we're getting a few from Forza, but I'm paying all that money a month for a Cavallino ad and no one is coming from there?

Good topic, I can adjust my advertising program.

I remember Bret from expensivecar.com, he got his car shortly after mine. That was a great site for a new Ferrari owner, I learnt very quickly how to maintain my car using the procedures and the forum.

Rob posted a link at expensivecar.com and I took a look. Have been here since the beginning...

Sorry magoo, it was a joke - I just finished reading the Fast & Furious thread and thought you might enjoy a little levity. If you check my post in there tonight you'll see I essentially agreed with you.

BTW, while I don't post often, I've been here for over a year now

It was linked over from back in the day of expensivecar.com when it kicked the bucket like a year and a half ago I guess, which I found doing a search for Ferrari stuff.
