After extensive research which lasted for 1 minute, the results are in:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&edition=us&q=Brookschein+wax&btnG=Google+Search

The only other place on the entire web where Brookschein+wax exist is the exact same letter on EZboard posted July 8.

brookschein+germany gives the same result.

"Brilliant car wax" also gives the same result, as does "Blitz shine booster"

There's something rotten in Denmark... maybe it's the Limborgini.

Interesting... not a single website until now:
http://www.brookschein.com

Very Intersting -> "Coming Soon"

ITEM: You don't use automotive wax on a private jet. Something about the UV rays and air up there just doesn't cut it with automotive wax. A Citation may take 5 days, A Lear eight days, A Gulfstream.... leave it with me for about half a month and I'll tell you. :-)

Experimental products on precious Ferrari enamel, I wonder. I detail F cars with only Zymol and Zaino(if requested). When it comes to using a new product on Ferrari enamel, or experimenting, the best and safest bet is to take the wax kit and locate the nearest Ferrari recycler. Needless to say these F cars are damaged, but there's always a roof, deck or storage lid that's still in tact. You will know right then and there, if the product is going to do more harm than good on Ferrai enamel.

Me too Rob. I can't wait to find out what people think of this stuff when they get it. I want someone to post pictures of the kit and let us know the "untold story" :-)

Heck it may be a great product. The first time I say that clay bar stuff was on an informercial, and I bought some later from Griot's Garage and am a believer!

To be perfectly honest, i think the worst thing they could've done is ignored everyone's phone calls and emails if they ARE a real company; when you've got a tough audience/crowd/customer and the last thing you want to do is not talk to them - then you need to talk to them right away...!
i've had plenty of clients call and bust my marbles to no end and i stay in there, always respectful, knowing that continuing my service is the best available route.
i've had plenty of those once-hostile clients call back and apologize, blah blah blah and now we're tighter than when were before.

If Warren Direct is a real company, the biggest mistake they could make is ignoring this crowd; if you can deal with this tough crowd and get a thumbs up in the end, you can deal with anyone...

...and, oh yeah, i wouldn't @#$% with Bill, either.

Note to self:

1. Never use WARREN DIRECT's services.
2. Don't get Brookschein products.
3. Don't wax Gulfstream V. It will not deflect stone chips at Mach 1+.
4. Don't fu*k with Bill Hart.

So, i guess i should expect my kit any day now?

PS i did call her office and left a brief VM for what that's worth, but did not get a chance to debase myself in person: so, assuming i get no free wax as punishment, i have conceived of a new Terms of Use provision,as follows:
Thou shalt not mock, defame or other
wise ridicule any person or entity
that comes on this site, for the first
time, offering free goods or services,
except in the case of : (1) those goods
or services which should be considered
offered by a paying sponsor, in which case
(x) the poster shall be politely notified
of the sponsorship policy and directed
to seek information concerning rates and
banner ads or (2) goods or services are
offered in hyperbolic fashion, in which
case the offerer shall be considered fair
game by all participants.Provided, however,
that if the goods or services offered
are considered highly desirable, and are
truly "free" within the meaning of
applicable FTC rulings, then each poster
may seek to secure the benefits of the
offer without undue interference from
any other participant, with the under-
standing that, should another participant
question the veracity, claims or other
statements, express or implied, being made
by the offerer, that person may do so, only
by including a disclaimer to the following
effect in his or her posting:
NOTICE; WHILE SOME OR ALL OF THE STATEMENTS
MADE IN YOUR POSTING ARE SUBJECT TO
CHALLENGE OR VERIFICATION, THIS POSTING
SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED TO PREJUDICE THE
RIGHTS OR ENTITLEMENTS OF OTHER POSTERS
WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBTAIN FREE GOODS OR
SERVICES, WHETHER OR NOT THE SUBJECT
STATEMENTS ARE ULTIMATELY ESTABLISHED TO
BE BASED IN FACT.

Hello,

Thank you all for your e-mails and calls. My quota has been met for the amount of Ferrari owners we'd like to send kits to and use in the infomercial. The product is aimed at everyone, not just luxury car owners, and all of our kits have been mailed.

I also sent out kits to individuals that I felt were taking this seriously and not passing judgement before asking more questions and gaining more answers.

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

"The Don",

Correction- My car is held together by rubber bands. The rust and oil are for decoration.

It's a tough life- I keep having to explain to the mechanic that I want the rubber bands replaced, and not the belts (much cheaper) :-)

Dear Ms. Castellanos: Thank you for your unsolicited offer seeking endorsements for a product none of the 2900 plus members of this chat group has ever heard of. We are, of course, confident that if your product is everything you say it is, you will extremely successful in the marketplace. However, we are besieged with product endorsement requests all the time. If you are serious about your offer, please prepare 2,900 starter kits, one for each of our registered members, and coordinate with us to blindly ship the kit to each of them (in a manner which will prevent you from obtaining their names and addresses for your mailing list).
After membership testing has taken place, there will undoubtedly be a discussion period wherein members compare notes, disparage the findings of others, and generally mock your product and your ancestry. After that process is completed, we will consider negotiating our standard form endorsement arrangement with you through our counsel. In the meantime, you should be thankful you are not peddling license plate holders, fish ornaments, or god forbid, floormats.

P.S. I have found autowaxes to produce uneven results on my private jet. Perhaps it is a function of the metals on my Gulfstream V.
Very truly yours,

Dom,

Agreed. But I would not use it on a gt4. The wax will eat off the rust and caked on oil that is holding your car together.

It sounds like a reasonable offer (except for the spam content). She sends us a free sample, we use it, and if we like it, provide a testimonial.

I sent her an e-mail.

If she expects us to shell out $$ for her sample kit, then I think she is barking up the wrong tree.

Please allow me to introduce myself to you - I am a production coordinator at Warren Direct, a direct marketing agency in Austin, Texas. We are currently producing an infomercial for one of our clients, Brookschein, selling a great new car wax from Germany.

I came across your website while looking for individuals, clubs and groups to try the product on their cars and who would be willing to talk on camera about it. Brookschein is a great product that has an amazing reputation in Germany and this is the first time it is going to be available in the States.

Brookschein came to the US through Harold Brooks of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Brooks first discovered the product in the 80's when he bought a Limborgini and the product came with the car. He had his detailer try the product, fell in love with the results and licensed the product for sale in the US. He's been using the product for years on his Mercedes, BMW and even on his personal jet.

Warren Direct is helping bring the product to the US for the first time, direct to the consumer via television. Since the product does not have a consumer base in the States, we have to develop one. That is why we're contacting you.

This is also a great public relations opportunity for your organization as the show will be broadcast nationwide on cable channels. We do have a tight schedule and have an on air date in September, so everything is moving along to find stories and testimonials.

You would be sent a kit including 12oz bottles of the Brilliant car wax, Blitz shine booster, car wash, glass cleaner, wheel cleaner and leather/vinyl cleaner, 3 sponges and a cloth in a bucket with a lid. Once you had tried the products and given us feedback we would decide on approximately 15 people for testimonials and stories. We would then send a camera crew to you to film you and your vehicle for use in the infomercial.

Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested and I can give you further details.

Thank you,

Kathryn Castellanos
Production Coordinator
