The movie is already being shot it Italy. My mom is good friends with the actor and world famous chef Vincenzo Schiavelli. He has a role in the movie as an American journalist. I seem to remember something about Joe Pesci playing enzo, but I think he's too short, I could be wrong on that though. I'll find out and let you know. |

I think Jean Reno from Ronin and the Professional etc. would portray Enzo well. He has the air of confidence and mystery about him. And with the make up they have now a day, they could take him through the years brilliantly. Joe

Personally, I think the guy who played Uncle Fester in the Munsters looks a lot more like Enzo than Robert De Niro. |

who knows how the script will turn out but....you can bet the cars will be spectacular...bet some of our ferrarichat owners will be getting calls to provide extras. wonder who they will get to play the various drivers.....andy garcia for villeneuve; potsy for schekter; ed norton for lauda?....that ought to get some threads started. |

not a bad idea, but they would probably make it a little more hollywood to appeal to the masses, though enzo life is along those lines already, start with nothing, built fame and fortune, fast cars, love affairs, illegitmate kids etc |

Just got the June issue of Forza. In the Dateline News section there is mention of the possibility of de Niro playing Enzo in a movie based on Brock Yates' 1991 book (which I have read and is highly detailed). de Niro would be a great choice to play such an "intense" person. Who would be better? I would pay to see this. |
