Gentlemen, I will be picking Christine up at 7:45am in Quincy. I'll be at the food court at 11 to meet the other F-chatter's. I do hope someone on the team will be kind enough to take me for a ride in their F-car. Until tommorrow. Lomo t.P.K. |

Taek-Ho, It's a Euro 84 with tons of mods. k27, Intercooler, twin-plug,G50/50 5-speed, 928gt4 fronts. Everything is fun and games until the Tach hits 2700. Then you'd better be holding on to something... Thanks for asking. It's my daily by the way.

Richard, Only a 930?! If it's a pre-cat ('84?) Turbo I'd be game for that over various Ferraris! Now THAT sucker's gotta be fun to tame on a track. Cheers |

Hmmmm, never met her BUT she is very pleasant to talk too ... and yet all these people are going to this effort of posting all over the net for somebody they have never met ... man, she must have one sexy voice, or something Yep I'm on the front row waiting for the interesting replies too ... it is just too far fetched IMO! A pic would be nice, since there's that sticker that says load limit 400 lb. on the visor. |

If there ever was a thread that was "worthless without pics" it's this one. Just kidding. Obviously it should not matter what she looks like. BTW, I'm really confused by this situation. My guess is it's either a harmless legitimate request, a brilliant scam, or a really dumb scam. |

Dennis, tell Christine that I love Italian women. In fact, my wife is Italian! Also, as in the past, if we discussing someone's new car on this site we would ASK FOR PICTURES. Does anyone know if the Challenge race with be on the SPEED Channel? |

To those of you that are planning on going to Lime Rock for the Ferrari Challenge weekend: I don't think I'm going to be going, so I am very envious. I hope that all of you that are going will have a great time! The reason I'm writing is to pass along a request. A guy found my name on the 'net, linked to a bunch of Ferrari events, and wrote me an email asking if I knew of anyone driving out to Lime Rock on SATURDAY for the races. He know a young woman from the Quincy, MA area, who would LOVE a ride in a Ferrari out to the racetrack (well, duh). If a seat is available only for the outbound leg, that's ok, as she can stay over Saturday night and arrange for her own return on Sunday. He's never met her, but according to him, "Her family owns a furniture company near Boston and she is a very pleasant person to talk to. I knew that her brother had a Ferrari so I called Christine to make sure that her brother knew about the "Ferrari Challenge", but when I called she told me that she was the one who loves cars (perhaps more than her brother) and that her brother was probably too busy with the business . . . anyhow, if someone in your club has an extra seat (even if only to the track on Saturday) that would be great." Subsequently, I received the following from her: "Dennis, my name is Christine and Todd wrote to you last week on my behalf. I want to attend the event but was not too excited about driving there myself from Quincy, MA. Todd had asked you if there are any local people going that I could ride with. By the way, I dont need the driver to be Mr. Or Mrs. Safety afterall, we are all fans of fast cars, right? Anyway, if you know of ANYBODY that has an extra seat for a 28-year old Italian woman, please let me know. I would really appreciate it! Thank you!" As always, don't shoot the messenger. I'm just passing these along. No jokes, please, unless they are really funny. If you do have a seat available, please let me know and I will pass along her email address. vty, --Dennis
