You guys have it under control, so just send me the details. Piatti's can be nice, and it's far enough away from downtown SF that Kuzi will actually get a bit of a scenic drive.

Byron: Dude - there's never any reason to ask for an invite, it's always implied. I think it's awesome that guys from all over are visiting other FCers. You'll have to tell us all of the dirty non-publishable tales from your FDC opening gala! :-) And the dirt on DES ;)

Here's an image for you guys - I played water polo for four years in HS. And yes, we wore Speedos. But Spiedo's is a great italian restaurant in downtown San Mateo, and I *think* they have one in Sausalito too, but I'm not certain.

I work up in the bay area M-F... but usually fly home to So Cal on the weekends to host Ferrari Driving Club events with Matt and the gang...

In fact, DES will be flying in this friday to join us at the FDC Launch Party (7/12), if you want to meet him!

I would love to join you guys on your drives... I will just make sure to stay here that weekend so that I can come along! Any possibility I can ride along with somebody sometime? (I doubt my Hertz rental will look that great next to some of your VERY nice cars!!.... my 348 CH is in So. California)

Byron,
Please do join in. Let us know when you'll be in town and perhaps we could caravan to Piati's from the city or something.

This is turning out to be good. Perhaps we could also do a drive somewhere like Vincent suggests. There are some nice back roads in Tiburon. Perhaps we could go for drinks after dinner in Sausalito.

Guys,

Is there a drive involved? Piattis was pretty good last time I ate there.

Art,

I'd like to check the carts out, for how long are you going to be at Sears Point?

Byron,

If you're in town, join us.

Des,

Doesn't it take a long time to type in your username! you're one dedicated Tifosi! But I ask you this: Do you have a Barbie in full Ferrari racing get-up?

Upload

The mark of a true enthusiast! :-)

Dan,
Perhaps we could eat at that restaurant next to FoSF where we celebrated your losing your F virginity. We could park in the FoSF lot and walk over. Won't have to worry about door dings etc. Might need reservations so we'll need a head count.

Kuzi, Is there a particular food you want or don't want?

Ok kids, in comes Kuzi. As I recall, he's busy for the day, but is good to hang out with us in the evening. I was thinking an early-ish dinner (7pm?) in a remote and enjoyable area.

Personally I think Marin would be a good change of pace, but I don't know the area well enough to recommend anything (Spiegels or Spiedo's or whatever on the water?).

As for rides - I just got word that my car is slated to be done at the end of next week for the 30k (GAH! Two weeks!), which kind of blows. That means I might be Jag'ing it up or bumming a ride (love ya Norm :-) ).

But - Kuzi please correct me if I'm wrong on the dates, and others local please suggest a venue.
