Jeremy:
Thanks for the nice words. It is so nice to share my cars with another true Ferraristi. That M is a hell of a ride isn't it! Again, best of luck with your new stallion.

I would like to thank Mark Moon for a wonderful dinner Friday night. Mark is truely a nice guy. Amy and I both look forward to hosting you and Alison when you come to Houston. I will nevor forget the ride in the F512M. As many of you know, that is my dream car, and my handle. What an awesome experience. He actually broke the rear wheels at over 100MPH. A great trip, and a great car. Amy loved driving the car. Once we fix the exhaust, I am sure rhe will drive in to work a few times.

Donny, It was great to see you and Tracie again. Thank you for the kind words and support. You two are truely great. We are looking forward to a drive with you guys.

I will post more information on the exhaust situation, and and any new information on our first Ferrari. :-)

JR says that it is a small leak in the exhaust. Mothing major thankfully. About 5 hours labor to fix. The car still runs great, but sounds like hell. I plan on changing the oil and bleeding the coolant this weekend. As well as chasing down the fuse problems that is causing the break lights to malfunction. JR said I shoud change out the fuse blocks. Might do that if I can find them at a reasonable price. Anyone know where to get them?

Jeremy, we really enjoyed seeing you guys again, thanks for stopping by BR on your way home. Your car is wonderful, you're going to love it. During a 1000 mile drive and all you found wrong was a valve tap and a light bulb, looks like you picked the right one.

Hope Amy enjoyed her time behind the wheel as much as you did!!!

Looking forward to seeing both of you again in New Orleans. If you want a place to stay let us know.

Just made is home today. The drive went well. Had a skid plate drop down in Jacksonville. Scared the crap out of me, but I removed it until I can get under it and fix it. Everything went well until we hit Lake Charles, La. Started hearing a tapping sound. Everyone I called said it was probbably a valve that settled down and needed to be adjusted. All in all, a great drive home. Over 1000 miles with little issues.....except for the break lights, and dash lights not working. :-) Our first gremlins!!!!!!

We met up with Kelly, and Mark in Slidel and went for a nice drive along the New Orleans waterways. What a trip!!!! Kelly's 308 is screaming!!! I was keeping up, but still trying to "GEL" with the car. Also met Donny and Tracie in Baton Rouge. They saw the car and gave their best wishes. What a great couple!!! Amy and I hope to be just like them. :-)

Amy finally gathered the nerve to drive the car. She we hit a traffic jam. 90MPH to 0. The car got a little hot, but Amy new to pull over and to try to get the heater on. Learned from a Honda Accord. Who knew?? Then later on.....a tick. Two hours at a Shell station and a dozen phone calls to gear heads finally convinced me that it was a valve.

I am taking the car to JRV in the morning to see what the tick is exactly. Sounds like a valve, but I want to make sure. JR will get it right. What a guy. I will update everyone with pics and an update on the "tick" tomorrow, or when we get it figured out.

A quick thank you to all that I called trying to figure out all of the new sounds that I heard durring our trip.
