My dad had a Jaguar like the one below. Very temper-mental, but when it ran it ran!

Rob, It was a pleasure to meet you also. Hopefully we can do it again with more people and cars.
The TR is not a real TR, but definitely all Ferrari. Eventually I will get all the info about the car. Which dark blue car?

Now here is a definite replica. Ferrari body panels and interior, but Ford motor.

Also, the Miata in the pic with the Pantera has a turbo on it. It's for sale also.

Looks fantastic though and I bet it'd be great fun on the track (especially as its worth at most 10% of a real one, no 7 figure loss sticking in the back of your mind)

Anthony the fact that it has a steel body indicates that it is a Replica, albeit one thats been made with a modified Ferrari chassis and running gear

It's left hand drive. So far as I know all TR's were right hand drive. I don't think it's real. Easy to find out. What it's chassis #?

There are dozens of 250 tr replicas with real Ferrari engines, body parts, and frame. Although maybe from a 250 GTE. I'm not saying this one isn't real though.

Anthony, thanks for sharing, it was also a pleasure to meet you in Atlantic City.

Is the old red Ferrari a 250 tr replica? I can't imagine it being real, but who knows. There are 40 or so of them around somewhere I guess.

How about the dark blue car. A Ferrari Superamerica or Superfast or maybe another 60's Italian car?

James,

The Ferrari is real. It has a steel body, Ferrari engine, and Ferrari chassis.

Most of the cars in the collection don't get driven. They haven't driven the Jaguar XJ220 yet.

The electric car is a Ford Think car and it is street legal. Looks like a golf cart on steriods

What a shame.... a Pantera with 38 miles on it.
The car must feel like the boy in the plastic bubble, that never gets to go out and play with his friends, truely sad.

Allards are a Anglo American hybrid like the Cobras, Sydney Allard took a big ole V8 (cadilacs usually) and stuffed them into a lightweight chassis and body, their crude but sooooo fast great for hill climbs, guess Sydney beat Shelby to the idea by about 10-15 years!

Byron,
sure we are talking about the same cars? I know of five XJ220s in California:
- Keuylian Motors has been hawking one for a while
- The Rich Marconi museum has one
- There's a blue one, belonging to a dealer in Marin
- Another green one, part of the Mallya xollection in Sausalito
- And a plum coloured one, belonging to a gentleman in Menlo Park.

The only one that is an "S" variant is at the Rich Marconi museum. Is that the one you are thinking of?

Interestingly, if there is another S version here, it cannot have been brought into the country under Show and Display as it is specifically not allowed. How it was smuggled in must be an interesting story...chances are it was just declared as a non-S variant.

Faisal, the Jag you are talking about in California is a XJ220-S, a special race model... 1 of 5.

This one, albeit very nice, is a XJ220.

The Jaguar is in Pa. They just got it. It took over 6 months to go through the beauractic crap.

Wm Hart,
The dark roadster is an Allard. I think it is a British car. I don't know to much about it yet.
The red Testa Rossa is a 63 body on a 59 chassis.
I'm in Lansdale. About 15 miles north west of Philly. There are two old Lambos under the covers in front of the Jaguar and Mercedes.
Ciao

So, Anthony, tell us about the two older F cars (or is the one perhaps a Maserati?)and the dark colored roadster with the wires and portholes parked behind the pickup truck (this is actually a ruse because i'm truly only interested in the truck). Where in Pa are you?

Tony,
did that XJ220 belong to someone in California? If not, there's two of them!

Nice cars. Must be a cool place to work

Since I got my F355 spider, I have gotten more people asking about doing repairs on exotics and other specialty cars. We are an auto repair shop and do upholstery work. So we always have a classic or antique car around the shop. But, lately I've had a few more exotics to work on. I also have just started taking care of a collection of cars for a customer.

The Pantera is for sale if anybody interested or no somebody that might be. The car has 38 miles on it.
