Allan, that's Japanese car magazine. Did you get that in the US? If so, can you tell me the contact? Personally I like Lotus Elise a lot. They look so cool. I wish they have a meet like this (combo of all exotic cars) here. Then again, they probably do, I just don't know it yet. |

Where is Scottsdale Lotus? I'll be in Scottsdale the week after next and it sounds like I need to go look around. Tim, glad to hear you kept the 360C! |

yes that was my F40 with the black speedlines. I also had my 360C, race viper GTS and my $400K racing trophy truck. the truck is almost done maybe another 6 weeks or so. and yes I own half of Scottsdale Lotus now. I got bored of retirement so I bought half of it. we sell of course Lotus, and Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, etc. this new Lotus Elise is just incredible. the power to weight ratio is unbelievable. I'll tell you that this little car with 200hp for $38,500. will give me F40 a real run for its money on the track. it will be close in time around the track if not faster. It will be fun to see. I'll keep you posted on that one. those are also two of my coach's there at the meeting. I will post some more pictures on Monday of more of the cars that were there. Inside I also had a 550M, 550Barchetta, yellow diablo, silver merci, CL55, Porsche TT, the GT2 was out for the day, but also had several other cars too. |

I consider the Murci and Diablo 2 totally different cars, and love them both. During the next few years, the Murcielago will get dramaticly more aggresive. |

Allan, nice pix of the event last night. I also thought it was very well put together and a good time. The wife and i were looking over the Murcielago and the yellow 6.0 Diablo that was sitting by it. As far as styling, is it me or did the Diablo just look more aggresive than the Murci? I love them both it's a hard call. If I don't find the right 512TR I'm thinking about adding a Diablo. |

Ryan, I think you should drive the cars your interested in, you may be suprised by which car is really a step back. I personally prefer the Lotus to the 355 Spyder, and in my opinion, the Lamborghini is miles ahead of any Ferrari, barring the F40/F50/Enzo. The event was very well put together with lots of nice cars. I must admit, i spent most of my time drooling over the silver Murcielago and the burnt orange Lotus TT, although i saved a little drool for the F40! |

Clarification: I mean that I would hate to own a Ferrari and think that I shouldn't buy a Lotus or a Lambo because in some way, it might be a step backward. |

I love those Esprit TT's. I am thinking about getting one over a 355. I am also thinking hard about ordering a Gallardo. The big problem is that I have never actually OWNED a true high end car. That makes me a little reluctant to jump right in with a Ferrari (Lambo too but slightly less so). The Lotus and Lamborghini are spectacular cars and incredible performers. I would hate to buy a Ferrari and somehow think that I shouldn't be able to own one because in some way, it would be step backward (although I think that the 360 and Gallardo will be on par with each other). Thanks for the pics Allan. |

Tim still owns the F40 with Black speedlines. The event was held at Scottsdale Lotus which Tim owns a portion of. I believe both F40s were on display only and not for sale. It was a very nice event and Scottsdale Lotus really put on a good spread of food for the club members as well as having a lot of neat things to look at. |

Gallardo as a barchetta would be nice. The Gallardo looks awesome in the pictures. Hope it is as impressive as the pictures, usually it is the other way around. Still love the Diablo look. My mechanic had a white on white in the shoip as well as a 2001 yellow with black and yellow inlay interior. Looks very very cool. Also all carbon in the interior and the engine compartment.

Allan I read last nite ( I think it was Autoweek or R/T ) anyway it is "on the rack" at this time. One of the Lamborghini managers said they would soon release a Gallardo Roadster. I think a Murcielago Barchetta is also in the works ? Martin ~ It is just a pipe dream !! She ain't going to ever done any leathers and ride a bike even around the corner to the bagel shop. Yes bikes are very dangerous. |

I wish my wife would accept the fact that she "needs" a Ferrari as her driver. She says she can not handle the cellphone, palm pilot and a stick shift at the same time. Yellow is such a great color.....she looks awesome.......BTW the car as well (sorry I had to..) |

Allan you are going to have to upgrade that 355 for your wife. You do not want her to get upset. Taek-Ho's wife is stomping all over the Bay Area in a 996 TT and refuses to take any prisoners. I am still waiting for my wife to respond to the question I have asked many times asking her to name a price for learning to ride an R6 crotch rocket by herself. I never get an answer. At least a few blocks on a Sunday Morning to the bagel shop ? I like your choice of white for a Lamborghini. Looks even better in the Desert. You will not get any argument from me. |

My wife runs the 355 hard! Ive never met a woman that romps the throttle the way she does. When she loses, she also gets upset. Pretty funny i think. Taek, i have always loved white cars, and my Murcielago will follow the same scheme as my Diablo, white/black chrome wheels. |

Nice pics. That white car concept really is growing on me. Looks fantastic. I have fun racing the wife occasionally too, but since she commandeered the Turbo, I sold the Murcielago, AND I'm relegated to Corvette duty..well..I get smoked all the time. Not a good feeling. I got beat by a chick!! Grrr. Cheers |
