Paul,
the car Mark is referring to is the owner of the Swap Shop. He is a big Ferrari collector. Deservingly got one for his collection. he also drives them pretty often.

Talked to Ray today and his car is already in North America but they have a recall on the radiator and they have some guys flown in from Maranello to fix all radiators on the US Enzos.
He should get his car as early as the end of this month beginning of next. I told him a party is just what the Squids needed :-)

With our invite by Olive Garden we will see his car displayed at the paddock area. I will try to get Craigs 550 and another Challenge car for display, be that Craigs or Ray's 360 or my 355 (which is being repainted silver with florescent green on the bottom)

I wonder if Ferrari should start making the engine an optional extra for people like this? Or maybe they could just fit it with a 50cc engine so you can drive the car slowly around town and look cool! There would also be more room for shopping...

I heard this weekend (from 2 F-car owners) that one of the guys that got an Enzo from Shelton in Fort Lauderdale, is running ads in the paper to come to his swap-market (flea market) and see the red Ferrari.

Bring the kids, see the car from Charles Angels and buy some used goods. LOL

What a waste. That motor will wear incredibly fast if it's only driven once in a blue moon.

I keep thinking of the guy who dailys his F50 (over 40k on it now) and how when he dies (and we are all truely equal) HE will be having the last laugh on a life FULL OF FERRARI! (and how his F50 will out-last all those poor running garage queens.)

Drive the wheels off, get it sideways, and replace stuff when it breaks.

Love the playmate analogy, very true.

Best!
Ben.

"This is Willi Weber, the manager of both Schumacher brothers."

Wow, you think someone that kind of pull, he would have gotten one sooner.

Owning an Enzo is like being married to Playmate of the year and only driving them once a month. What a waste :-(

Stopped in the dealership today, 2 Enzos were there - 1 in the service area ( yellow), the other in the showroom (red).

The yellow one is the car from last months Car & Driver cover - it has almost 3,000 miles. This owner drives it as often as possible. The red one is new and the owner will probably be like this Weber guy.

Of course I side with the car with miles. Knowing it is being driven makes it all the better. Honestly, I spent time looking at the car with miles.

Glad to see that Ferrari got their priorities right when they came up with the list of who got an Enzo, Personaly I would have given his car to someone who's going to use it properly, how many people would have seen one thats used in the right places against the people who'll see one in his garage!

Upload

This is Willi Weber, the manager of both Schumacher brothers.

According to his own statement, he wants to drive 150-200 kilometers per year with the car. Possessing is crucial, not driving.

I cannot understand him.:-(
