Yup. Simply the best event I've ever been to. And funny enough everybody told me, that the 'Goodwood Revival Festival' in September is even better as they really race each other and everybody dresses up in the clothes of the period. They even make fake Le Mans grids and starts. Jim, btw I missed your buddy. Did see him race though, but never got a chance to transmit your greetings. Did you know, that Lee's car was one of the three replicas on display in the 'monument'? I bet you did. But did you also know, that scalextric made it even into a collectors minicar? Ok, you knew that too. |

BTW: Special thanks go to Faisal Khan for helping me out with some software that allows for easy batch processing in reducing the pictures to FChat's format. He saved me a bunch of time, also going forward. More will be posted when I get more rolls processed. |

Thanks John. I never quite understood why neither the Mythos nor the Pinifarina Rosso didn't go into production. Both models beat their originals hands down (TR512 and 550), although they don't really compete, they're on a separate higher level of the ultimate supercar themselves. Gosh, just today I shot another roll of film just of the Pininfarina Rosso and all the people ogling it. It is just too cool of a car. The Barchetta looks like a Ford Taurus in comparison. Patience, my friends, it will take a while to get the 500+ pictures processed. BTW: I might be wrong on this, but I believe the Pininfarina Rosso did NOT run in the Supercar group at Goodwood. Maybe I'm just out of luck, but I watched that group about four times and never saw it. I did however watch Jay Kay trying to do smoke his rears, but he forgot to unselect the traction control, so the car stopped on the track, everybody quivering with anticipation, and then trrrtatatrrrrtataaatrrrrwhoooomwhoooombang he just accelerated out of a still stand. No smoke, nothing, but you could hear the ratching of the traction control. Lame. |

On the Koenigsegg - license plate is Modena. Anyone know if it belongs to Modena Motors outside London? They have an amazing set of cars there, if anyone wants to see exotics and Goodwood is not happening! |

I feel so technologically challenged with my whimpy laptop. Oh well, my contriubtion will have to wait. But I did shoot approximately 400 pictures. It is simply the best motorsports event I have ever been to or seen anywhere. Unreal. And also from a F perspective, it is almost endless. Tons and tons of rare Ferraris including my all time favourite Ferrari, the Pininfarina Rosso. |
