I went back last week and took a bunch more pics of the cars with their hoods open. See the revised (hoods open and closed) gallery directly: http://www.get-fast.net/ferrari Enjoy, Jon |

Okay the rumor has just been confirmed, the hoods are open through the end of the show on Sunday night. I'm going back down on Wednesday... I can't wait to see all those gorgeous Webers! :-) Jon |

I looked back and didn't see any threads about this so I thought I would go ahead and post. Please forgive me if this has already been covered... There are 12 important Ferraris on display at the Chrysler Museum of Art (www.chrysler.org) in Norfolk, Virginia (near VA Beach, est 100mi east of Richmond) through next Sunday, July 20th. The key players are: 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza (from when Enzo was their racing boss), 1949 166 MM Barchetta, 1952 375 "Indy", 1953 250 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta, 1958 250 GT Pinin Farina Coupe, 1961 250 TRI/61 (closed fender long nose), 1962 250 GTO, 1963 330 P (Sebring winner), 1967 275 GTS/4 NART Spyder (ex-Steve McQueen), 1967 365 P/2 Speciale (three-seater), 1973 246 Dino GTS, and 1991 641/2 F1 (ex-Prost.) You can see many pics from my visit at http://www.get-fast.net (click to enter, then click on the middle right side banner.) All Ferrari fans... please get to this exhibit before it closes in a week, it's truly amazing!!! PS- I heard a rumor that they would have the hoods open for this last week of the show; I may sneak down there soon to find out for sure :-) Thanks, Jon |
