I had a chance to meet Les Brun this past Saturday. He contacted me after reading my post about playing with Bruce the weekend before. We spent the afternoon talking cars, playing with his 550, Autokraft Cobra and Audi RS6, and getting to know each other.

Les is a great guy, as everyone I've met on this forum has been. I look forward to the day when I can pay back Bruce and Les' hospitality.

Reading this post made me feel warm all over again.

Martin: You're right. I've never met an F-Chatter I didn't get along with. This is a great community.

I had an advantage on Bruce because I'd seen his picture on here. When I walked up he said that he expected me to be short fat and bald.

I think my image needs an overhaul!

F-Chat has made many friends. I must say I have not yet met someone I did not like. Out of a pool of people you always have some d*cks but here it appears (with exception of those few that pop in and out)that we have a 3000 people strong group of good guys.

Hope to meet up with Bruce sometime soon myself. Mybe at the Pizza Expo in Atlantic City in October

I'm right outside Harrisburg. If you guys ever come out west and don't mind sharing the road with an NSX we could have some fun. In my area there are several nice F-cars. I wonder if it's anyone here?

Bruce: I tried to keep a few things private...honor among thieves, you know.

About that wedding...we'll talk.

Your TR is one of the cleanest I've ever seen. It was a great ride, even though I felt like a crash test dummy riding with a guy with questionable eyesight (-:

Yes, I will always take Sal's directions over yours.

Bruce tested and certified my Testarossa at 110 on those same roads back in March. He seems to know them by heart. I am proud to be friends with the Wellingtons.

Bill, whenver italians refer to "family" they are usually refering to anyone even remotely related to them! When i was in italy a few years ago we had a family dinner and it seemed like half the town was there!
I'm sure bruce is happy to get back in the TR and drive!

Anyone who is worried about how Bruce Wellington's eyes are doing can rest assured that all is well. To test that theory, I strapped myself into his glorious yellow Testarossa yesterday and rode along as he blasted through the countryside at 110 mph.

Since I'm in Philadelphia for 3 weeks I contacted Bruce and he invited me to spend the day with his family poolside. When I say family, I mean FAMILY, his mother-in-law, Andrea's brother Sal and his family, even Bruce's brother's brother-in-law and his family were there. And what a family they are. Warm, affectionate, friendly people who welcomed me gladly into their world for a day.

Many of you met Andrea on F-Chat while he was having his health problems and I'm happy to report that she is even nicer, more loving and gracious than the exceptional person we came to know over the Internet. Bruce is a very lucky guy.

And Bruce? Well, you all know him from his posts here, and he's exactly the same, but without the CAPS. This is a guy who really cares about his friends and the people on F-Chat. His health is improving and he's starting to enjoy the Testarossa again. Andrea told me that last weekend was the first time the 2 of them went out in the Ferrari for a long ride and she described the joy Bruce experienced driving a car that he was afraid he'd have to sell only a few months earlier.

I'm proud to call Bruce and Andrea my friends.

Oh yeah, one more thing about Andrea. Just as Bruce and I were about to depart on our ride she looked me in the eye and said, "Bill, in third and fourth gears--it's wonderful!" That's my kind of woman.

My thanks to Bruce and Andrea for a wonderful day.
