I bought a set of the castor rollers so that i can move the cars real close to the wall. Its easy getting out the M5, and the 550 comes out if the m5 is out, and the z8 can come out if the m5 is out first. but the boxer needs to be shifted to get it out. I'm safe for doors opening, its my kids carrying their hockey bags that scares me.

David,

You got 4 cars in a 3 car garage. Aren't you worried about door dings (if you could open the doors at all)?

Nice looking stable David. Don't you love your M5. I have a 2000 M5 that I use as a daily driver. It is the best sedan I have ever owned.

Yeah, thats my dads Cruiser! An old Police car with the interceptor engine. Gas Guzzler is another word that comes to mind.
I got stuck at my warehouse yesterday night. It started to rain heavy and the streets to the commercial area floods. I could not take the 348 back so I jumped in the cruiser. Cool car.

Rob,
I was thinking about a lift as well. Especially now that I am getting that old 208GT4

Hey Martin, is that a Crown Vic in front of your spider? :-)

Yes, it leaves holes. That is the Challenge Carbon Fiber adjustable wing. These suckers go for over $3k. There is an area that is bolstered (reinforced) from below where the Allen-head bolts come through the deck lid.

Yes, that was a 355 spider in the background. It was virtually brand new and had maybe 200 miles. I can't remember what they were doing to it but it was not wrecked. This shop (Ferrari Classic Coach in NJ) is the clearing house for new Ferraris that need repairs as they come into the country and before they go to dealers.

How do you get the spoiler in the rear on and off? Do you have holes left when it is off?

What is the car in the back of the picture with the rear completely of? That looks like a Spider!

Hi Scott ! Good to hear from you.

Your guys did a great job and I am so happy with the car ! I put the entire car back together and had it running in three weeks after I got it back (I'm a type A personality if you had not noticed). Here is a picture after your guys had just painted it, and a picture of the car at my home three days ago (fuzzy photo). I have already had it at the track three times (RED HOT !)

Skip,
Yeah I saw that show and I was absolutely stunned by the "Southwestern style" garage! It was as nice(ok maybe even nicer) than my house. I loved the fireplace, but did you hear that they don't use it for safety reasons...bummer, nothin could be better than a warm fire, a glass of wine and background music whilst gazing at a vintage Ferrari :). Ok, maybe my garage won't be as nice when I'm done with it, but it will be clean and organized at least.

Paul:

I see that Jimmmy was finally able to get your car on and off the bench. How is the mechanical part going?

I just signed up - and it was nice to find a familiar "face" so quickly. Let me know how things are going.

This is my home garage, I sold my company making hydraulic valves last year. I even sold the main plant, but kept another for hobbies:) The silver Jaguar is my brothers project, the green one is Daimler Double six. My everyday car is a XJ40.

PAUL; GREAT!

Now I understand why you had the harness and all the other challenge stuff.

Love that house, 3 car garage, 2 bedrooms, one bath! Talking about priorities!!!!

Next summer. I just finished insulating, sheetrocking & painting my 12 car garage, then I left for Argentina. Plan on adding a lift, some power tools, cabinets, desks, bathroom, maybe a little studio so I can b with my cars all summer long :)

Well, most of my pictures are of my cars but you can see some of the garage in the background. Since these were taken I have put up a wall of vinyl coated wire shelves. I highly recommend well-thought-out shelving. They key is keeping stuff on shelves to maximize floor space. Below are some photos of my cars and one of my 355 engine 'hanging'.

Will post mine in a few days. Just painted a red lower part with a yellow stipe in my warehouse. Give me a few days to put a car in so everything looks good and like a Ferrari-Garage! It will be great.
