Tom you can do those yourself. Buy the magnetic backing at an office supply store and glue it on the regular shield stickers or the raised stickers I glued on here.

The shiels I use have a rubberized, magnetic back. They go on and off in a snap with no damage to the surface. If I can locate it I'll post the website for the supplier.

The adhesive is not invasive. I pulled them on Ferraris as well to replace them with the enamel shields. They come right off just leave the residue of the glue on the fender. So when you do this make sure to have a can of Gunk with you to rub off the glue residue.

I returned the car at night so no worries and it was in dire need of a wash as well :-) After 1000 Miles in 3 days.

Martin;

I am wondering if the shield caused paint damage also? If not look for them on my rent a racer at the USGP

Eric,

this is the car Martin rented while in LA over the weekend.

Martin,

Did the paint come off with the shields?

"Weird.. I saw a guy in DC last week who had scuderia shields on a motorcycle. Odd things people do..."

That's nothing, I know a guy with a SF shield on a Saturn!

As no one will confuse a Ranger with a Ferrari, it's a safe bet he's an enthusiast, not a posur.
