On some of the V12 cars (late 250's to early 330's), the second filter is a Fram PB50. It is a by-pass filter. The later V12 cars do use two identical filters.

I'm not an expert but I believe they are both real and I believe Baldwins are preferable to Fram!

A related question: the Dino engine, at least in front mounted cars, has two engine oil fill caps. One I could screw off and the other I never got off. They both go to the same place so no big deal but...Are they both designed to come off or is one permanently fixed to its neck?

To answer a question from O/T.. on some of the V 12's there are twin Fram oil filters on the front of the engine. I was once told that one of them is a dummy put there for apperance. Is this correct?
