There is no sports car impressive enough to match the overall comfort and driveability of the AMG flagship. New E55 will leave the Z06 behind, unreal considering how heavy the sedan is, more impressive is how much quiet it is when it blows it away! It's more of a thrill when you're driving something that's quiet, comfortable with the AC on cruising with one hand on the wheel and smoke away most any car on the road put aside really pumped up modified cars, for stock there is nothing on the planet that is most impressive. BMW has tried but always seems to fall behind, esp. in the overall construction of the vehicle including the finishing touches. I'm not comparing the lower end of the cars but the upper end of the cars, I know because I work on them and not just saying it. Also tired of hearing about Lambo motors blowing up because I've never heard of such a thing, mine has been very reliable and drive the car as hard as when I had my 348. I very much hate cars with problems and I don't care what make it is, if it has more problems than what I can deal with, it's a piece of and not worthy of being a road car, maybe track purpose but not road, I've seen cars brake down in the desert, can't picture that being me in the heat! reminds me of the X 1/9 I used to have, bought it twice! should have learned the first time around. Next was the Ferrari and it had problems, now the Lambo, cross my fingers but no problems but won't be surprised if it happens, besides it's an Italian made vehicle, how often do you find reliability in them? and I'm talking of the majority of them, you've got to admit it's the reality of things and more rediculous is the price of repairing the piece ofshi*s. I now realized my next car won't be, if I want to play, the car has to keep up with me, that's the bottom line, now keeping up with the car repairs, that's something else I won't play with anymore. The 308-328 series is OK due to it's easy maintenance but it's now an older car and you can get a modern car that will perform better with all the goodies in it. The newer Ferraris, well if you are buying it for the looks and have disposable income ... heritage, bullsh**, the only heritage I see is breaking down having issues and swallowing your hard earned money.. |

The most cordial greetings to everyone at Ferrari Chat. First, please accept my sincerest apologies for anything my confused, misled son has said or done here. My name is Allan R. Fiedler, the father of Allan Fiedler JR who I assume most of you have met and is the focus of this thread. Several business collegues of mine have forwarded links to several chat rooms where my name has apparantly been associated with much negativity and unruly behavior. Apparantly my son has been posing at several sites, claiming to own my Lamborghini Diablo, and his uncle's NSX and F355. It appears as if my letting him drive these cars has boosted his ego to the point where he has become uncontrollable. Please, just ignore my son when he returns from his one-month punishment grounding. And if anybody has a problem with Allan JR, please contact me via email. Thank you. Dr. Allan R. Fiedler SR. |

Jason, there are very few Supras that can run in the 9's, and none on a street setup. I said ESPECIALLY, since the fastest stock street bikes run the 1/4 in the low 140mph range.

You took a picture of your car on the TV? LOL When you said "especially," did you mean "except?" I've seen a few stock street bikes take out a 9 second Supra TT. |

Shawn, the car is still a South Florida car. I never did alot of drag racing with it, but its new owner does, with the boost cranked up on race gas, it runs in the 9's at over 150mph. I used to run around on pump gas, and lay waste to everything, especially the fastest street bikes. Scary fast. Running race gas and turning up the boost brought it to another level. |

11.5 is a great Et, but Murcielagos are trapping anywhere from 121-124, meaning on a roll, a Murcielago will pull from the Porsche. Also, people are starting to change the exhausts on these cars now, and that makes a huge improvement in the power on the Murcielago. That Porsche is sweet though. Heres a picture of mine at the drag strip. |

The X50 in the pic was dynoed at 600HP cant remember the torque figure though so I would be guessing. The Stage five kit in the works will add larger Turbos and injectors bringing the car to 700HP. We went to the track last Wed night and the Turbo ran an 11.5 @ 121MPH its first time out. Compared to my 996 13.4 @ 99.9MPH for first timer's running street tires, we were happy. They booted my friend off the track and told him not to come back unless he puts in a full roll cage, His half cage wont cut it, 5 points, and a fire suit. LOL |

Shawn, it was not this years, but the year before. Sorry about that. Alot could also depend on driver, the Murcielago can smoke an X-50, but im sure with enough mods the Porsche can be made faster. Also, a Murcielago and Ruf Turbo Porsche 520Hp, are about equal in acceleration. Im not trying to deny that a Porsche can beat a Lambo, believe me, ive had Porsches that will destroy them. |

I am not sure which Gumball 3000 you are refering to. But the latest one was to Miami and actually the fastest cars were the Koenigsegg and the Ferrari F50 from Joe Macari. And I have video that will be up soon of the Yellow X50 smoking a dark Silver Murceliago To my knowledge there was no F40. |

Bottom line is there is always someone out there faster. Like my buddies Stage 4 on its way to Stage 5 X50TT This car handed a Murceliago's ass to him in the Gumball 3000 Honestly Allan, I am suprised to see you on Ferrari Chat arguing with people??? We have spoken many times at rallyfreak.com and this pissing contest seem's out of your character.

No thanks, Al. Once again, no need to expose her. You made the mistake of posting a picture of yourself and your wife. Why would I make the same mistake? Do you think I am stupid as you are? I don't need any form of personal recognition on this site, nor anywhere else. If you were a secure, mature adult, you would feel the same. If you were half the man that you think you are, you would be pretty cool. Maybe someday you will join us in "reality". |

We are all a little touchy about our motors, but there's no need to take it any further than that...I certainly don't think we need to see spurious 'psychology reports' from members' girlfriends, however intelligent and beautiful they might be, do we? A new record! very entertaining! but from what I read here most of you fellas are not better in the arguements here, you are just shootin rubber bullets. Allan won't go down easy and he most likely won't go down and you're shootin flames at a flammable area. I know some of you may disagree but I do see a lot of truth coming from him more than just fake talk and it is human to see him talk back some funny stuff just like most here does anyway. All in all it's entertaining, why else did I come back today to read all this. I haven't really seen much of serious Ferrari talk anyways. It's an open site like all sites but you know what it's the only site I really come to as far as a chat site, we all come to see the good and the bad but I don't see anything to be damaged here to this day, I've seen worse sites that I would never go to again and some on the first day and I've never gone back to. It's like watching Jerry Springer, you guys talking scribble are the show! Why can't you guys just accept that your car is a piece of sh**? we're all told that it is from at least one non owner. I drive a piece of sh** every now and then but at least I can admit it. |

Allan As I said my g/f is getting her PhD in Psychology and read this post and only one was enough, her analysis of you: You are by far a therapists worst nightmare...because personalities like you never really get better. You live as a sad-eyed bench-sitter with arms stitched up like footballs and psychic wounds that can never be sutured. Your ego is as fragile as spun sugar, your psyche irretrievably fragmented, like a jigsaw puzzle with crucial pieces missing. The saddest part is you never change you will always have a grandiose view of your own uniqueness and abilities, however they are only fantasies of great success as everyone can see but yourself. As this thread shows everyone, your feeling of falling short of yourself inevitably leads to anger and rejection a true impoverished lack of self-importance. Research shows that medications do not help those of your personality type, so our best suggestion to you is a full lobotomy. p.s. she saw your pic and you having her panties is a perfect example of a disillusion of a great success! |

Allan, I know your type and I am not an insecure little prick like you and need to build myself up in my profile and make demeaning remarks to others so you can feel better about yourself and superior, thats why you own a Lambo right? You need the flash and the attention and approval from others because you know you are in the same league as a magazine telemarketer. Those that have the least talk the most I have a trucking business and I have employees that drive them for me, its a real legitimate business unlike your time share scam crap, you really should try and keep a lower profile and not draw so much attention to yourself if you want to keep your little scam going |

You will continue to embarrass yourself in that dead-end until you face that final wall. Then you will insult every Ferrari owner on this forum in a last desperate and failing attempt to persuade us to accept your opinion and then you will disappear with your tail between you legs. Forever. And for years to come you will be a good laugh at this forum. Ciao Peter

Mark, I agree with you a 328 has a timless design that will only get better with age, Allan, I still like the way some Lambos look, but you have to admit it, you dont see them on the track to often, no 24 hour race, no 12 hour race and not even 6 hours, no racing history what so ever to speak of, you know why dont you? WHO GIVES A SHI*T how fast your goddamn Lambo is? They are all fast, and you are the coolest guy in high school. Happy now? With regards to the lowly 308/328 insults, I worked my ASS off to buy my 308, and you know what? I love the car! I could care less if a stinkin' modded Honda is faster, WHO CARES? I like my car, because IIIIIII like it. You like your car because YOU like it. Listen, take some of all your money, and buy friends. A LOT OF EM. You sure as hell are not making any here, so you might as well try to impress someone else with your extensive Lambo history. All of the people that you have insulted are my frineds here. You need to be a little more productive with your time OK? Lambos are great cars, but owners like you, make me hate them. |

Albert: No worries. I would take a 328 over any Lambo. The car is gorgeous, has timeless styling and perhaps as an added bonus you will never see Allan in one! You know, I just left an exam room after breaking terrible news to a young patient that she has Malignant Melanoma and it appears it has spread. Her likely chance of survival past 3 years is nill. I bring this up because I am sure we all deal with unpleasant issues in our daily lives. I deal with life and death every single day. I log on to FCHAT to bond with other Ferraristi and to get ideas, help and meet new friends. This is the last place I want deal with such grotesque personalities like Allan. Please Allan, just move on, go back to any other board you wish. Your comments here have done nothing but make you look like a fool. You need help my friend. |

Albert, If I remember correctly Allan posted a video of a 360 vs. Porsche Turbo. It wasn't him who threw Lamborghini in the mix. So that point is moot. About that video... You gotta love them Turbos! Cheers |

Jeff your girlfreinds got class, Dinos are great cars, visually one of the best. Allan would not know class if hit him. Allan, I have not called you names, but if you wish to go to that level, you really have no place here. I simply stated Lambos fall apart, last time I checked this was a Ferrari site, what did you expect, the 328 was a great car in its time, that cars is 18 years old. But if you really want to start calling me names, let me tell you I wont stoop to your level has I would devasted your manhood. But if your ever in LA, look me up and I personally will take care of this personally in a alley anywhere anytime. |

"Just make sure you watch out for those Dodge Neons that will chew you up and spit you out, on the street, and on the race course." Kind of like how you have to watch out for those RX-7's, huh Allan? Nice pic, Allan. Do you work hard on that extra chin, or is it easy to maintain? |

Jeff, if you think your girlfriends opinion means $hit to me, youve got another thing coming. Shes also dating you, so there goes her opinion. A Dino? Oh now theres a nice car! lol Albert, your just a plain idiot. Keep thinking that Lambos just go around the track once and fall to pieces. I guess it is easy to keep a 200hp, 3200pd bomb like a 328 together though. Just make sure you watch out for those Dodge Neons that will chew you up and spit you out, on the street, and on the race course. |

Jeff, Lay off the Eclipses and the Lamborghinis man. Bash people all you want but don't go that route. To call any exotic a piece of shite is pointless. Well, the Eclipse is not an exotic...but I have one anyway and I love it so... Cheers |

Go get a refill of your Prozac and carry on with your numb ramblings somewhere other than here. GO! GO HOME BOY!! GO! Go on, you can do it..... GO! |

Why Ferrari owners so afraid to admit that Lambo & Porsche has better performance and more reliable than Ferraris? |

I took my g/f to a dealership that had a few exotics as she wanted to see a Dino in person as they are her favorite Ferrari, they had a Metallic Orange Diablo SV, she told me it was a tacky POS, perfect for a 2" goldchain, bad toupee wearing, wannabe pimp or rap star and easily changed any small good opinion I have of Lambos including the Countach, I can respect her opinion unlike the parasite bubble headed user stripper types you are used to Alan, she has a little more going on inside her head as she is getting her Doctorate in Psychology. My car will kick your cars ass, how funny you sound like a High School ricer with his lime green Eclipse, do you think I care? I know its hard for you to grasp this but I chose my 328 because thats what I wanted not due to financial limitations, I dont brag all over the internet how much I have or this or that but any one of my trucks for my business are worth considerably more than your ricer Tractor/VW. I would watch who you are calling wimpy Girly Man, my sister has bigger arms than you |

Yes I can afford to buy either, but liked the styling of the 328, I always wanted one. Unfortunately a Ahole made a left in front of me a while back and the car was tottaled, now in my garage sits a 348. Drove a 355 and a 360, a bit too much power for me. But I assure you that yes I can afford a Lambo but would not lose money like that. Now my simple sugestion was that your car would not last a hard lap. Not that I would beat the pimp mobile in a 1/4 mile, just that from my previous experiences that Lambos just do not last. So the bottom line, yeah I would race a lambo anytime anywhere, especially on a track, given there reliability, I know at the end of it that my "old" 328 would still kick your A**...

Manu, I am just going by the published tests that indicate the Porsche TT as 0-60 in high 3 second range and the F40 in low 4 second range. Of course with turbos they can both be tuned to be even faster I suppose. As far as seat of the pants feeling, I have no doubt that the F40 "feels" faster. That's one thing all Ferraris seem to have over other makes, the perception of speed. My Boxer feels faster than my M5, but I know my M5 will outrun in in all ways, 0-60mph, 1/4 mile, top end handling and braking |

I love how 308 and 328 drivers always have alot to say, while driving cars that cant hold a candle to honda civic. I had a Countach for 3 years, and i can assure you they do not fall appart. I can assure you however that a Testarossa will. Oh, and Im sure your car would kick my Lambos ass!lol. As for relaibility and motor strength, try running Nitrous in your 328, for as many years as i have in my Lambo, and see if you can have the same reliability as ive had, which is 0 problems. And you were gonna buy a Countach, or a Diablo, but settled for a 328? Now thats funny. Atleast a 355 would make sense, but a 328?lol |

Allan, Diablo are a nice sexy car, beautiful design, a little out there for me but hey to each his taste. I considered buying one, hell I even considered buying a Countach, they maybe fast (only in a straight line) but thats not the problem, the real problem is that they fall apart, hell 0-60, will they get there or over heat or bust something up. Thats why in road racing, (ROAD RACING NOT BOATS but if you want to compare offshore racing FERRARI has more wins there also!)a Ferrari will run circles around any Lambo. It's the truth get over it and grow up. Enough of mine is bigger then yours crap. Hell I know for a fact that if you raced me in my old 328 for 10 laps anywhere that I would kick your rear end, your Lambo would fall apart after 1 lap. |

Claxxy boy, come on down! Btw, of all the cars you listed, they would have to be pretty heavily modded to beat me. Im sure many can, and many cant. Sad that this arguement was about Ferrari vs lamborghini, and you had to get rid of Ferrari. Look at it this way, if those other cars would beat me, just think how badly any Ferrari would get destroyed. The arguement here is not whether there are faster cars than Lambos and Ferraris. there undoubtedly are, the arguement is why are normal production Ferraris so much slower than production Lamborghinis stock for stock? |

Allan: Yes. talk is cheap. You should know. You are one of the most singularly unpleasant people most of us on this site have ever encountered, that I am sure of. Since talk is cheap, I will be happy to pay for an enclosed trailer to bring your Lambo to Florida, put you up for the night and you and I can see if my "pig" of a car can stay with your awesome machine. You are a really classy guy and I think David's post to you pretty much sums up how most of us feel about your demeaning, destructive and generally worthless posts on this board. |
