that's the light that tells you it's time to buy a lambo ;-)

yeah, it's the battery in the alarm unit dying. they do that. it's stupid and annoying and expensive.

if anybody finds the generic battery part # to just crack that sucker open and replace it, we'll ALL be ALL EARS, thank you.

doody.

Run a search in the tech section. The backup alarm battery is draining.

Gentleman,
If we can all take a break from the mental-judo with Allan, I have a question which is driving me nuts. Ever look at a word which is spelled right, and it looks wrong, and you look back and convince yourself its right, and then you look again. (okay, maybe its just me)

Anyhow, I just came from a quick jaunt in my 355 spider and I am whipping along and I notice the little red alarm light on the dash is solid red. And I say, hey? is that right? And then I say, yes, it is always, on. Then I look at it again, and I say, no it should be off.

I cannot convince myself whether that light stays on, or turns off, when you are driving. Or if it indicates that I do not have enough hp (just kidding, that was for Allan)

355 spider owners, or those in the know, please save my sanity and rescue from making a very stupid phone call to the Ferrari dealer.
