I noted Silicon Valley Auto group had ENZO that had been sold

http://www.siliconvalleyautogroup.com/ferrari_stock/ferrari_9998/photo_page.html

Their F50 had also been sold.

The left over is 288 GTO

Simply amazing what the blue chips can do to these toys

Hey Pat, i think i found a legit reason for the guy to say "The other vehicle was sold before it even hit eBay." probly cuz that very lucky driver of the MM Enzo bought it before the guy put it up on ebay! has anybody emailed him again telling him that VIN was from the MM Enzo? usually idiots like that get pretty flustered when you bring up a flaw in their schemes.

gary - the theory is that he's some scammer using an assumed name selling ficticious enzos. presumably he sets up a phony escrow setup and steals your money.

it is possible that he's 100% for real, but if so, he is well on his way to being the largest enzo dealer on planet earth. and we've already caught him lying once - the first car we saw him list on ebay was absolutely not his to sell.

only one on the planet, according go google. he's based in Minneapolis.

someone should email this address and ask him if he knows someone else by that name in MN.

this from the BigFoot white pages search:

I got a response from the jerky

Sorry,
The other vehicle was sold before it even hit eBay.
What is your offer on the Enzo? Unfortunately 2 are
being delivered next week, they have a delivery date
to the US on July 30th. 1 of them is an open order,
the customer may spec out the details of the exact
Enzo they would built. This particular one, I have
asked the seller for some pictures. With the terms of
sale, your money would go into an Escrow account and
only transferred to the seller upon inspection of the
vehicle.
If you are truly interested, make an acceptable offer.
Then I will lock the car in with a deposit in the
escrow account. Then upon inspection of the vehicle,
you make payment for the remainder. I am very close to
negotiating a deal with the current bidder. These
vehicle's are going for about 1.3M

Thanks
Titon hoque

Sean
Both of you should file a complaint with the Provo Police. At least go on record. You should also put ebay on notice and email a cease and desist notice to seller for using your vin#.

this might be pointless right now, but they list the milage on the Enzo as 0. i thought they track test every car that leaves the factory, making sure the engine is broken in correctly, etc. or did i get this info wrong?

This is all too common, we used to post the VIN of our cars in inventory on our webpage so a legitimate buyer could do his homework. We had to stop because they were showing up on ebay.
The owner of the Enzo is not very happy his car showed up on there. It is not for sale and he has no plans to sell it. With 5,000 miles already aquired he is having too much fun.

This is wild. The guys on NSXprime are bidding on the car and trying to get the guys bank info to wire him the money.

Then turn it over to Ebay and the cops.

Ebay wont do its job. So car people have to do it. What a shame.

Jack how much will the rides cost for
you to break even ? Assuming you
might be able to park the car and
advertise rides at Disney Land.
Probably the lines will not be
that bad for the Enzo.

How about Trunk space? Can she go to the grocery store with the Enzo? Does it clear the parking stoppers with the front nose? She has a problem with hitting those with the McLaren, also the ramp in and out of Publix is a little steep for the Mc Laren. I talekd to the store manager already but he said: just bring the 550 Barchetta when you come shopping. She likes the McLaren though because it can not get door dings in the tight parking spots!

Well, since he was kind enough to post a payment calculator, I figured I'd finance it from him. I'm going to do the max 72 months, nothing down, and since he's letting me choose my interest rate, I'll go with 1/2 %. That comes to a mere $11,280 per month! Hooo, baby. Who wants a ride?

I was joking about whether or not the owner could afford the car. Martin is right, though. This will probably be the best time to sell one if you can part with it!

I imagine the vast majority of these cars were purchased by people with passion for the car that outweighs a quick $400k profit by flipping it.

Frank Parker:
"If you can not pay cash for it, you can not afford it!"

Then if you were lucky enough to get it, you will make $400,000 cash the day of delivery! So taking a $600,000 loan out on the car is not such a bad thing after all. I would gladly sign that note!

Tom, lets go out and buy one!

Just think what the price of these cars
will be three years from now. When the
Bugatti and "everything else" has already
come out. Of course you will have NO PROBLEM locating a car with 2,000 miles on it three
years from now. How much $$ will you save by
waiting in the back of the line ??????

With the "change" you save lets see what
you could pick up by waiting ?

A 996 TT daily driver. Hello Taek-Ho.
A 360 Ferrari Modena.
A 512 BBI Boxer "For your classic meets"
Perhaps a Toyota Corolla and a few other
items ? Hey it looks better driving
in the Corolla when you have to purchase
milk for your kids.
R 6 Yamaha. Yes it is dangerous.
carbon fiber stick to keep people away
from your car.

This is assuming someone will let the
Enzo "go" for a realistic buyers price
of a cool 1 Million. I also am figuring
the car will drop down to "around" the sticker
price within three years. I have no crystal
ball. I know that it is always prudent to
be the # 2 person in town with the hot new
toy. I am NOT taking a shot at the car.
I am taking a shot at the people that are
FORCEING their way to the front of the line.
Of course it is their money. It is a very
nice car though.

Why in one clear pic of the interior is the car cover there and then in another shot, it's not.

Looks like two different camera's with pictures taken at different times.

If you are trying to hock your car, wouldn't you get better pictures?
