I like the "Michael Toschi" Driving Mach. Been wearing the black pair for the last 2 years. Great for driving yet formal enough to walk into a fine dinning room. |

My sneakers were too wide and getting caught on the edge of the brake - went to boat shoes which are almost perfect - I'll have to try Bart's "white sock" idea. Does anyone's floor mat get in the way by chance? Thinking about pulling it out for more room also.. dave |

Orvis for the road, Momo for the track. Each offers excellent feel and control for their intended application. Gil

What if you have odd-sized feet? I wear a 10.5 4E (yeah, ok, laugh it up ), and it's almost impossible to find proper fitting shoes. I usually have to buy shoes a few sizes too big so that the width is right. |

I usually just wear whatever I'm wearing around the house... usually my Rockport walking shoes. When doing "serious" driving and at the track, I have some racing boots, "No Fear DRAFT" shoes that www.racerwholesale.com had (and still has) at a great price.

For function-wise, Fila's Ferrari Red driving shoes is best fit for me. Looks-wise, TODS Ferrari Anniversary driving shoes in red got compliments from many people. They are like Gucci & Prada shoes, which looks good, but feel harder on my foot for driving. Most rubber sole shoes/sandals are pretty good though. Never drive with leather sole because it could get slippery from any water you stepped on (like splinkler & some people's spilled drinks) I like shoes & sandals. I want to buy Berlutti (hope I spelled right), but haven't found the store which handles them. If any of you know, please let me know the phone number or mail address. |

I bought a pair of Cole Haan driving shoes on eBay awhile back. I love them! You can find them brand new on eBay for about 1/2 of what they retail for ($150+) in stores. Here's a pic of what they look like. |

I usually wear my Pinninfarina Fila's. Sometimes I'll just throw on my loafers. However I'm thinking about moving up to these: www.toschi.com/collections/speciale/mach.html They are really nice. Dave |

I wear Sparco driving boots for Track days and longer drives, they're great with a little leather patch on the outside of the right boot for "heel/toe" blipping of the throttle by rolling your foot. I also wear Merrels which seem fine in my 360 for general driving. But most miles are probably racked up with my Church's shoes that go with my work suit on my way to work. I've had rubber soles grafted on to the base so that they don't slip on the metal pedals. Doody - I think FNE have the piloti shoes, they also have the rather expensive Michael Schumaker carbon-fiber boots. One nice anecdote from Lime-rock, I met an Italian gentleman from FNA (David?) who was very friendly and wearing the Ferrari-Fila zip-up boots. When I mentioned them he said he'd like to swap with my Sparcos since they weren't very comfortable! Dan PS Seem to have rather too many "shoe" anecdotes here, but at least I don't have a separate room to store my shoes like a certain lady-friend I had used to have. |

Bruno Magli ! no real, I love Bruno Magli shoes. Very comfortable but when driving I usually take my shoes off much to the displeasure of the passenger From time to time I wear driving shoes, especially if I have to get in and out of the Challenge car (driving during the day on the street). Is easier and better to drive in that particular car.

While A. Testoni dress shoes may seem like a natural fit (best of both Italian products), i wear the Fila Ferrari sneakers or Clark sandals. Enjoy the Drive, Steven R. Rochlin

i find my merrells to be fine in the 550 but too tight in the 355. in fact, the other day i was cut off by some really not-too-sharp guys on harleys and when i slammed the break i hit the gas too (luckily of course the clutch was in as well). the sound of my engine revving clearly unnerved them though :-) --- hopefully that thought will stay with them the next time they're driving like morons. the new piloti "touring"look interesting. anybody know of someplace in the boston area that sells piloti and sparco shoes? doody. |

I like my Sparco driving shoes, but they're uncomfortable to wear in the office all day... My Merrel shoes are awesome, almost as good feel as the Sparcos (though wider, so it depends on the car.) I wear these everywhere, from meetings, to shorter (sub 5 mile) hikes, etc. |

Folks, What do you wear on your feet when driving your Ferrari(s)? I've been wearing regular sneakers and shoes and am finding them to be either too long(and getting caught on stuff) or too wide... If you do wear driving shoes, which brand do you like? Thanks! Michael |
