No worries, the infrastructure takes up 90% of that 25%. The other 10% is the only part growing. Right now we almost have 1,000 messages with images and everything. We should be able to handle 10,000-20,000 and even if we get close to that I can make one call and pay a few extra dollars per month for however much space we need. I'm with a very good host that only works with businesses. We could even get a dedicated server in the future if the traffic requires it. My highest two technical priorities are to keep the site fast and the data safe. If traffic warrants a dedicated server, then I will get one. As far as backups, the host makes dedicated backups, I make manual backups that are stored on the server and my local hard drive. |

Quick math Rob: If this has been up for around three months and we used up about 25% of space, what will happen at the end of the year? Maybe sooner (when we've used up All of the space. I sure don't want to see another great site fall apart again!). |

I noticed we were getting out of space errors, so I immediately contacted our host. We are using less than 25% of our allocation, so I knew it was something else. The issue should now be resolved and I apologize for the outage. I've been ensured by the host that it won't happen again. If anything like this does happen again, you may drop me an e-mail so I can resolve it ASAP. Sorry, Rob |
