I didn't see it, but I can just picture Shatner delivering that line. LOL. If you ever get a chance to see a flick called "Free Enterprise", go for it. No Ferrari content, but I love some of the one-liners. ("... thinks that Chekov's _Three Sisters_ is a Star Trek novel.") ;) |

I saw that Brad Paisley video -- my daughter pointed it out to me. The song is "Celebrity". One of the early lines in the song is "I can't wait to date a super model, I can't wait to sue my dad. I can't wait to wreck my Ferrari... on my way to rehab." That 2nd gear thing was hilarious! The full dialog there at the end is that Paisley says to Shatner, "Second gear sticks a little". Shatner replies, "You got it into second gear? How did you do that?!?" ROFL! I don't think I've ever seen a music video with so many "guest stars" either.

I saw the tail end of it last night on CMT. Shatner was giving the singer hell about his bad acting, etc. Funny thing was that Shatner had a 355, and someone borrowed it, returning it with 200 more mile on the odometer, and said second gear was a little rough. Shatner replied, "You got it into second gear?" I was laughing my butt off at the inside joke, my wife was asking what was so damn funny about that! |
