All the Ferraris were red and kitted out for the track. I don't know who the owner (still assuming it's one person) is but I know I know the Enzo wasn't JKs (black) and the F40 wasn't Nick Masons (wrong reg).

Before heading off to Maranello's you should be warned that this is not an everyday occurance! However, you will always see lots of 'normal' Ferraris and Maseratis.

Alex,

thanks for the infos and next time when I`m travelling to the UK I must visit this store. Sorry, never heard about it here in Germany. But Heathrow is for me the main airport when Im going from Frankfurt to London.
Please let us know and post some pics from this meeting when they will be printed in the UK magazines.
About the owner: Which color was the ENZO?
I only know 2 Enzo owners in the UK (sure there must be more) and one of them is Eric Clapton who lives close to london and owns a few Ferraris beside his new Enzo.

I think, but don't know for sure, that they are all owned by the same person - I overheard one of the staff talking on the phone about ?'s cars being here but ? wasn't. No I've no idea who ? is.

Maranello is the UK importer for Ferrari/Maserati and is based in Egham which is near Heathrow Airport.

Sorry about not getting any pictures - watch out for future articles in UK car magazines.

all parked outside Maranello's server centre (UK).

I just popped in to book my car in for some warranty work and couldn't park until the drivers had them all lined up nicely. I got the impression (i.e. I could be wrong) they were all owned by the same person (not present) and, as a couple of journos were driving, probably brought together for a future article.

Bugatti looked a bit rough. F50 had a hard top - I thought they were all open? I've only ever seen one other, in Italy, sounded fantasitic but it was starting to rain! The Enzo (first I've seen) looked much better in the flesh. Very basic inside with obviously no luggage space (passenger seat and footwell full of kit) but I'd still have one (now which account did I leave that spare half a mil?).

Unfortunately no digital camera with me but quite a few people taking pictures so I'm sure they'll appear soon. One of those few occasions when whatever you arrived in feels like an old banger when you leave...

Cheers

Alex
