I always buy a six foot piece for T Rutlands and cut it up myself. It is cheaper than by sections and more fun, fits perfectly and looks the best! Use ABA stainless steel clamps the are the best not OEM but the best period.

I'm starting to make out a grocerie list of parts I need to do the service on my TR. The parts manual has everything as far as gaskets and such, but what about coolant hoses? It seems stupid to purchase each and every little segment of hose shown. There has been past discussion on this topic, but I don't recall the source. The closest European car dealership is about an hour-and-a-half away. Do I simply take a sample of each size and see if they have it? I would like to buy long lengths and cut it down to fit as necessary. Just don't know where to go...Thank You. |
