William, as Dog said, use MS Photo Editor and shrink them. Open the picture in Photo Editor then click on Image, Clock on resize, go from cm on the bottom to pixels and change the left upper number to 640. It will shrink the image on your computer. Then click on SAVE AS not SAVE! give it a new name with the jpg ending in takt like "Bills512small.jpg" and save it as a new name.

Hmm. I use gimp or xv, but on a windoze --- Ah, in MS Photo Editor, under "Image" is "Resize", then "File" "Save As". (W2K notebook from work.)

I had the same thing. After the browse/upload, a window came up to tell me about a link that would be added. But I didn't see the link and the picture never attached. Next try, I manually copied the link from the attachment window into the composition area, and the pix went where the link was. But then, I'm weird. (Galeon on a Linux workstation) What browser are you using? |
