After a horrible mishap last Friday, wherein a drill press and assorted tools toppled onto the hood of my pristine/ original 308QV, I was frantic to locate another hood . Mine is deemed too far mangled to correct. Prices quoted from Ferrari dealers ranged from $1500--$1700 and from $799--$1,400 from parts suppliers. However, Jeff and Mark of Ferrari UK saw my plight on Chat and informed me of their price of $340 (US) for a new factory hood and $120 extra for FedX shipping ( I live in NY). In addition to the outstanding price, it was delivered to my doorstep the next day!
While I like to warn fellow Ferraristi of rip-offs, I also like to give credit where it is due--Ferrari UK really came through for me and saved me a bundle!
