I'm leaving for Cauley at noon today from Muskegon with a buddy. Look for us at the party tonight. We'll be the mid 30's goons slurring their words and hitting on the Neiman Markus dolls.

You know the old saying here - if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes :-)

Stay tuned to the weather.....sources are saying it will rain. It can change at any time as we well know here in Michigan. I'll watch till the last possible minute before deciding to make the trip or not.

I wouldn't worry too much about the rain yet. They're talking a 30% chance of scattered showers. The optimist in me says that isn't a bad bet.

Unfortunately I'm leaving town on Thursday--and I just got back from 3 weeks in Philadelphia. It would be nice to meet the other Michigan F-chatters and reacquaint myself with those I know, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen this time.

Have fun!

Hi all!
I'm glad I caught this post...I live in Northville and absolutely gotta go (always wanted to see the Ford estate as well!)

What time does the event kick off saturday???

I assume the Cauly party is exclusively for owners, yes?

Thanks!

I went last year and it was great. I will probably be in Atlanta that weekend. We're moving there as soon as our house sells here. If I'm around I'll be sure to be there.

You can find general directins to the house at this link: http://www.fordhouse.org/default.htm

See you guys there!

Thanks Jerry for the positive feedback...it only makes me want to go even more. So Cauley has a party Friday night huh? I didn't know about that. Is the concorso a pain to drive to?

Thanks Bruce for telling me about Mr. Sawyer...however I'm already taking a "date" to this show.

I went to the concorso website hoping to find directions, but it is not very informative. I will be taking I-94 into the area, and must figure out the particulars from there.

Wouldn't miss it for the world. It is one of the funest/most professionally put together shows that I have ever been to. Make sure you attend the Friday night party at Cauley Ferrari as well.

I'm finally going to my first concorso event, on the Ford Estate in Gross Point Shores, Mich. Is there anyone else going? I'm really looking forward to this! I hope directions and traffic aren't too bad in getting there.
