JT,

Check with Tim Woods, the service manager at Ferrari of Dallas. I know they would not fly someone out but there is a large contingent of Ferrari owners who ship their cars in from Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, New Mexico and other outlying states. You can reach him at 469 366-2400 or at [email protected].

I believe they are closer to you than San Antonio and their service dept is quite good.

I also live part time in Laguna Beach (more so when I put my info on the Profile) but my businesses and F-Cars are in New Mexico.
As for San Antonio or Phoenix, I thought by the time I transported the cars to a shop I could just as easily spend the bucks to fly someone in but it looks that might be the route I have to take!!

Laguna Beach a one horse town???? News to me! You have several dealers within a 50 mile radius (okay, a 180 degree semi-circle! ;-) ) and doubtless several independents.

Or is your profile out of date?

The 360 needs to go to the dealer I guess. Try your OBD2 disgnostics system and see if you get the idea what is wrong.

The TR can be fixed by your own guys very likely. I mean it is as easy as taking the engine out of the car and exchanging parts. It is not rocket science although some what to make you believe it is!

512 will be easier - 360 will need a computer

Jeff wouldn't it be easier to send the car to San Antonio or to Phoneix, I also know there is a place in Albuquerque just can't remember the name off the top of my head but when I think of it I will let you know.

I am looking for a F-Car Mechanic that I could fly into the little 1-horse town that I live in to work on my 1992 512 TR and 2001 360 Spider.
I need the Cam Belt and Tensioners replaced on the 512TR and a check engine light diagnosed on the 360.
I would pay all airfare, motel, etc...
I own a chevy delaership and have the facility to work on it.
If anyone knows of a Flying F-Mechanic please have him email me at [email protected] or call me at 1-505-320-4384.
