Over the years I have gone in there many times. Again like everyone else has said they are very overpriced. I was looking to buy a '95 Yellow Viper there about two years ago. They told me that they don't want my trade and that their car would be gone in a week. "Yellow Vipers are rare and that is why it is $10,000 more than the other ones." The car was not that nice and it didn't go in a week, in fact it was there almost two years later. I just tried to buy another Viper there last week. Red '94 with 27,000 for $39,999. This car should be about 32,000 compared to the other Vipers I have seen for sale. What are you looking at buying Mario? |

I've stopped in a time or two. I think they are a bit overpriced, and not especially honest, but that's just my opinion. I was in there looking at a beater 450SL a few years ago. The salesman assured me it was a "local" car. I looked in the glovebox at the warranty book, and sure enough it was local, if the locale you are in is Florida. Standard car salesman stuff, probably no worse than average. |

if bruce told them UP FRONT that he was going to trade his 308, then they behaved sub-optimally. it sounds like he did tell them this. whenever i'm trading a car (and in my state, there's no time delay for a sales tax savings - you have to do an actual trade, right then and there) i tell the guy up-front about the deal i want to do, and discuss in some substantial detail what they'll give me for the trade. they can choose to then say "no thank you" if they're so inclined. if they say "we can do that deal" and then pulled what they seem to have pulled on bruce, then that's not reasonable behavior. as martin is fond of saying though, there are always three sides to these stories. doody. |

Bruce, I have to echo Martin on the trade issue. I'm dealing with them now and so far so good. Thanks for the input. Mario |

I've visited them a few times. They usually have a pretty decent selection and are knowledgeable, but again, overpriced. |

Bruce hard to judge here what really was going on but usually you ask for value on your trade first and then discuss price on the car you want to buy. Trading in cars is never a good idea unless the dealer wants to move the car off his lot and is willing to have your sitting for a while. If they give you a good deal on the 328 they will have to screw you on the trade. Just works this way. You probably expect retail value for your 308 and want to buy the 328 at Wholesale. Just keep in mind from your best perspective, sell your car private and buy the deal direct. Thisway it is cash for the dealer and he is willing to talk price with you more relaxed.

Yea...they suck. They owe me $120.00!!! I was interested in a hi milage 328 they had there a year or so ago. It drove nicely and looked to be in great overall condition. I even had it checked out by my mechanic and got the thumbs up that the car checked out ok (after I paid him $120.00 for a complete inspection). It was a local car and I even made contact with the previous owner that gave me the history of the car. All along the bastards knew I had an 81 308 I wanted to use as trade in. When I went in to make the deal, the sales guy accepted my offer on the 328 but said the sales manager was NOT interested in my 81 308 as "nobody wants them". He did not even have the courtesy to get off his ass to come out and look at my car (which is in XLNT condition). I left and will NEVER return. |

Haven't had any deals with them, but I've talked with a few of their sales associates. Nice guys to talk with, but I'll echo the comments on them being overpriced., I've never felt pressured to buy anything while chatting with them. Had a long conversation with one of them about their Triumph TR6 a couple weeks back. I'll be stopping in sometime this week to inquire about some restoration work on my '68 mercedes. If there's any car in particular you're interested in I could check it out for you. chris |

I've stopped in at least once or twice a month for the last year+. Very nice to speak with in person. Knowledgeable about certain marques. I haven't dealt with them in any transactions but I keep stopping by and they keep chatting with me. They know I want a Mondial cab and they telling me that they're looking out for me. I would tend to agree with John C regarding their prices, except for the fact that their inventory actually turns around fairly frequently. I'm surprised. I'll take a look at something on their website and stop by a week later and it's gone already. They do a fair amount of ebay deals one of their sales associates told me. |

Mostly consignment and all overpriced. I visited about 5 times there. I tried to put my classic Rolls on consignment. They weren't interested as the profit margin wasn't enough. They wouldn't really talk to me until the day they saw me pull up in my Ferrari. |

Has anyone dealt with North West Investment Cars? They are located in Portland, Oregon. Mario |
