It's funny that this thread comes up because it is spring weekend at school now (basically an excuse for the already heavy drinking to increase to kill-a-small-village proportions) and one of my friend's has a kid from home come up. The kid is for lack of a better description a redneck from Florida. I think he's cool as hell to be honest, he's real chill and all. So we started talking cars a little bit and someone said that I have a Ferrari. The kid was all taken back. I was talking how much I liked American engines, in particular small block Chevys (they're the best IMO), and the kid was like no no, they're nothing compared to a Ferrari. That kind of car is out of this world. So there you guys have it, even the deepest of rednecks can appreciate Fcars. I'm sure there are other guys that like them too that are in that NASCAR crowd. I find it kind of funny that the, for the most part higher educated, Ferrari guys seem to look down more on NASCAR than the "lesser" NASCAR fans look at us.

Although I didn't really expect Jeff to say he loves his Chevy, and can't get enough of tooling around town in it.

"I've got a Ferrari 355 Spyder, and I'd say that's probably my favorite, yeah. That thing's a lot of fun."

Interesting to say the least. I will admit on occasion I'll spend a Sunday afternoon watching NASCAR. I obviously like Formula 1 more, but it is a good show still to say the least, and I don't even follow the teams or the drivers.
