I am not sure I would let my wife drive in a 10 by 20 storage area - he should have tags because he should be insuring it |

Drive it in the storage area though. To get the steering moving! |

What a beauty. This is a great color! Awesome car! ONce a week until operating temps. Just tell her to drive it around the block. Ah, wait, you probably do not have tags. Darn it! |

The car can easily sit for a week between starts, but it's important that when the car is started you let it run until it is completely up to operating temp. and it's best to drive the car not just sit and idle. Starting the car and letting it run for 5 minutes probably does more damage that not starting it at all as a result of condensation that needs to dried out and fluids that need to get up to temp....Norm |

Hi folks, I just purchased my first Ferrari (and a long-time coming), a 1977 308GTB w/25,466M. Unfortunately, it's going to be in VA and I'm in Hawaii until 5 Sep 02. My wife will be with the car (not as a daily driver) and is plenty competent mechanically; she's an assault helicopter pilot. We're storing it in a 10' by 20' "locker" with Shurgard and would like to gather some advice for the storage. How often should she run it? Good starting and warming procedures? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Dane
