algar in philly and cauley in detroit are both excellent. i bought from algar and have worked with cauley. both are honest, fair, and reputable to deal with in my experiences.

I am in brooklyn. I would rather buy private and save alot of $$ than buy from a dealer and pay a premium

its full of 355s & everything else or pick up Hemmings, NY Times, LA Times.

Paul, I might take a ride out there to see their facilities. I am only 100 miles away, maybe if I speak to a sales rep he can keep me in mind for a red gtb if he comes across one...Im in no rush.

Leo,
stop looking entirely in your area. Look all over the COuntry. Right now you can fly with SouthWest Airlines for $200 round tip anywhere in the US within 3 days, $120 if booked 7 days in advance. I am looking at a 308 in San Diego next week. Fly in Fly out.

Concerning Ferrari LI or Ferrari NE, read the problems one of our chat members had. I sure would not buy from them under any circumstance.

There are some 355B on eBAy. YOu should be able to pick up one of those for $ 80 to $ 90. I would stay at the $ 80 if I were you. B's are hard to sell and will be coming down now.

Algar appears to be an exception to the rule when it comes to bad dealers. I would check them out as well.

Im going nuts trying to find a decent deal on a 355 gtb or gts, let alone actually finding one. I live in the NY area and I am a little weary about going to WWOC or Ferrari LI, I havent heard good things about them. I am particularly looking for a 95 preferably red/tan.
