There was one on E-bay a couple of months ago, Red tan I believe, with a blown engine. I don't know who did the conversion. |

Augustine There used to be a Red one near me, incredible looking car with the roof down, have seen it ocassionaly pop up for sale in various magazines. the weird thing is that it was usually at a slightly lower price than GTS and GTB's The owner claimed it was one of 2 or three so it could be one of the lorenzon ones Wm mentioned |

Hi guys, This is an obscure one but let's give it a try. During the late 80's (while the 328 was still in production) I remember seeing a photo of a Chiaro Blue Metallic 328 that had convertible conversion done on it. I don't know if this was a factory effort or a Straman type job. The photo looked like a factory shot. I've also seen a Fly Yellow 328 that was converted as a proposal for a limited production run. This particular car was originally a 328 Factory Prototype. I believe it might have been Scaglietti that performed the conversion but the factory decided against producing the car. There was a small article on the car in the British Ferrari Club's magazine a few years back. Does anyone know more about these cars or have any photos of them? I remember the Blue one being particularly beautiful. |
