I have seen a 308 (I think) on this site with 360 wheels and they filled the arches nicely ... Hoepfully that owner will see your post soon, all I can remember is that it was silver or grey. Pete |

I wanted to put 360 rims and tires on my 328 (and keep the stock ones in the garage so they don't get scuffed up.) I read a number of threads but still have a number of questions and concerns. 1. What is the neg. effect of putting such large spacers on a 328? I read a post a while back where a 355 had its front struts or somehting messup becuase the spacers put too much stress on a part of the setup causing it to fail (and a costy replacement) I dont want something like that on my 328. 2. What is the best route to do such? The adapter or spacer or what? From who? 3. Can I buy a set of rims and tires and basicly mount as is (assuming I get some adapter work) with the tires or would I need new rubber? Any other member do such? If so what was there impression? I would imaging a set of 360 rims and rubbber would increase grip by a noticeable degree over my 1988 era tires and not bery wide tires. Thanks for the help! |
