I have my stongard on my car since 6 months and it is the best thing I have done. Have it professionally installed by a Stongard installer. Call them and they can give you somebody in your area that has factory training. You can not see the film. Even if the paint comes off after you rip it off, who cares, saved you 2-3 times re-painting the bumper so it is well worth it. No more worries on track days.

Ray, go to WWW.Stongard.com. The full kit is $569.95 (excluding installation fee). They have a full cost list for each component on the website. Not sure about the paint coming off with the Stongard on impact spots. If the paint under it is fully cured, it shouldn't be a problem. So far, There aren't any rock dings deep enough to be seen on the bumper. When it's time to replace the Stongard film, I'll report on what I find underneath it. |

Thanx Willis how much did it cost to do the whole treatment on a 360? Also i have heard that if you ever decide to take the stonegard off, the film pulls of the paint from the car in spots where rocks have impacted the stoengard. As a result the front ends needs to be re-painted anyway. Has anyone had this experice? |

I've seen a yellow 360 with the full Stonegard treatment. Nearly invisible. Works great on red ones too. I have a black 360. The problem with black cars is that the edges readily show up even after the car is totally cleaned. However, I had Stonegard installed on the front bumper after it was repainted. The headlight lenses were covered last year (saved them from flying rocks many times). |

Anyone ever used Stonegard on a yellow ferrari? Wondering how it looks? I was also thinking of getting the speedlingerie bra instead any thoughts on that. |

It shows up alot more on certain colors. Its easy to see on most solid colors, but its hard to see on metallics. |

I had Stongard (http://www.stongard.com) put on my 550, after repainting the front clip, and not only is it nearly invisible, but it really works well. Good luck! |

Since our outing today got cancelled , I just brought my 348 Spyder in to get the StonGard installed. ( front end was completely re-painted -looks outstanding!!! - so why not keep it looking new ? ) At our May 4 outing , you can see it and let me know what you think. |

I have got a couple of stone chips. I'll drive during the summer as she is and on winter I will have to repaint the front. |

try doing a search, maybe using stoneguard in it. I know this has been covered a few times, if I remember correctly most people agreed that stoneguard (when installed by a pro with ferrari experience) is a great product. |

Oh my god. What are the chances that you were writing this at the same time I was posting about paint chips. Must be something about us Illinois folk and all the damn gravel trucks and construction sites! |

Does anyone use anything on the front of their car to protect from rock chips, either a bra, or some sort of tape that would be replaced from time to time? Thanks. Ernest. |
