I agree, a most noble gesture and a wonderful job on the tribute, it will have a place near my 348 as Jens was the most helpful enthusiastic man I have met in many years. |

Make-a-wish is represented throughout several nations. Per Andrewg's thoughtful query, Germany is not one of them, however Austria and Belgium are part of the following rosters: http://www.wish.org/home/findus_international.htm Argentina; Australia; Austria; Belgium South; Belgium Vlaanderen; Canada; Chile; Costa Rica; Denmark; France; Greece; Hong Kong; India; Ireland; Israel; Japan; Korea; Mexico; New Zealand; Panama; Philippines; Singapore; Switzerland and Liechtenstein; Taipei, Taiwan; The Netherlands; United Arab Emirates; United Kingdom http://www.wish.org/home/findus.htm United States Per Terry's equally thoughtful point, here is the US site for MDA: http://www.mdausa.org/ According to the American Institute of Philanthropy, http://www.charitywatch.org/toprated.html#health which measures how well donated dollars are spent, the following grades have been extended to these particular charities for Terminally Ill. Grade / Terminally Ill Foundation B Make-A-Wish Foundation of America A- Starlight Childrens Foundation A Sunshine Foundation To that end, there is: A Muscular Dystrophy Association An informative read: Wise Giving to Charities http://www.heartsandminds.org/articles/wisegive.htm You're doing the right thing with your hearts, minds and funds. |

The make a wish thing sounds good, do they operate in England or Germany (Jens was from Germany wasnt he?) if they don't then maybe split the money between make a wish and a European counterpart (I'll find out who does the same thing in the UK) |

Dino Ferrari died of Muscular Distrophy and that is the official charity of the FCA, my vote would be for either MDA or Make A Wish. |

I like Make-A-Wish, they often times meet the request of kids wanting to ride in a Ferrari. |

I've attended several of thier charity functions in Dallas. Actually bought my wife's wedding band there. A friend of mine has some art work by a kid that has since died. Very moving stuff. Some of the kids want computers, trips to disneyland, rides in ferraris or to learn to cook. If this money could make just one of those wishes come true that would be a good thing. |

Ken, Make-A-Wish Foundation. Allow numerous terminally-ill kids to realize a few of their dreams like Jens & Amar did so enthusiastically. |

We have about $1,900 left over from the Jens and Amar tribute collection. I exchanged e-mails with Wolfgang in Germany and he thinks that the board members should decide what to do with the left over money. This may be asking for trouble since we all have our varied opinions So, what should we do with the money? Maybe make a donation to MADD or SADD? (these are good causes even though the accident was not alchohol related) Any other automotive non-profits that would be good?
